Black Thursday. The sad thing was, the Germans had stockpiled ball bearings, so it made no impact.

Episode 3. Wow. I knew the Regensburg/ Schweinfurt raid was going to be a tough watch but that was a magnificent piece of film making. The bail-out ball turret sequence had me close to tears.

Amazing stuff. I don't care if I'm alone in my opinion but that was incredible.

I mean it’s riddled with issues but the worst thing is the dialogue YOU CANT HEAR.

Yes, best one so far, and it looks like we’re going to get more story outside the cockpit next.

I wonder how/when they’ll introduce the Tuskegee airmen.

They were interned at the same prison camp as Clevens

They only get a fleeting mention in the book from what I can remember

It’s got better with each episode.

The first was not good, couldn’t even get through it in one viewing. The whole cast playing Captain America….. Think the one guys still playing Elvis, from his last role.

The second, bearable & improving as it went.

The 3rd was a massive improvement, got a lot more real. First time I thought, wow these airmen went through an incredibly tough situation. Edge of your seat, relentless & entertaining episode.

When the characters aren’t being excruciatingly annoying you can start to empathise with them….like a drama.

Band of brothers is the best thing I’ve ever seen on television-closest thing to being in ww2 without actually being there.
I didn’t like the pacific at first-but it grew on me

Tbh don't watch them until MoftA has run its course. They are poles apart in quality.

Are there any statistics or reports anyone can share on the friendly fire that occurred? With the combination of so many bombers in tight formations, so many attacking fighter aircraft, and so many defensive machine guns, exacerbated by fear and panic.. were a lot of bombers actually shot down by their own side?
