I like Dominic West but if a white chap is still used, he is portrayed as either a complete dope, miserable pensioner or in this case a complete boorish prick.
Agreed! I wonder if it would have made it as an ad if the roles were reversed?

Not exactly smash the TV set but The Postcode Lottery’s latest advert.
Why do they need 7 separate “celebrities” in one single advert - absolute madness and just shows how much profit they’re making.
The one just before with the location pair and a French chap I have never seen before was bad, but the latest with that idiot Paddy almost makes me want to cancel my DD.

Have not had a bean from it for over a year either so it might just be the straw that broke the camels back.
Yes we used to do the postcode lottery (or my wife did) - never won a bean either so stopped the DD a long time ago.

A proper eyeroller by Salesforce, hawking their "Einstein AI" product.

Seems a massive disservice to the man to compare automating emails with that physics lark he did.

Though no "Albert Einstein's fking face licenced by the Hebrew University of Calcutta" text like in those adverts for smart meters, so that's nice.

And how does the Verisure bod arrive at the house before the st golfer who damaged the door?

Ad for Intuit checkbook with Frankie Lampard.

Do people buy this product because FL is in it?
Do people think, Oh I am in the market for........What was that one with FL in it, I must buy that?
Or If FL is in the ad, it must be quality ettc etc.
Or.....anything else.

I just dont get the "celeb" in any advert bit. Are some that shallow?

I don't get why he does it, the guy must be absolutely minted given the jobs he's had and the payoffs he's received.
I know it's easy money and all that but surely there comes a point ?

Wasn’t it whichever Jaws film he did (possibly no. 4?) where he said he’d never seen the film, but he did see the rather lovely house it paid for every day? Or something like that.

It was Jaws: The Revenge & coincidentally (FL) I think that the property it paid for was in Chelsea (Harbour).

It's probably already been mentioned but Domino-oooh-ooooh.

When I've perfected my time machine I'm going back to the meeting at the ad agency when this was floated and I'm calling in an air strike.
