Do you guys pick all this up from just watching or do you all google the hell out of TWD daily?
I feel somewhat inadequate as I just sit there and watch it in zombie mode myself and sturggle to recollect what happened, never mind remembering and connecting details like that!
You too!I feel somewhat inadequate as I just sit there and watch it in zombie mode myself and sturggle to recollect what happened, never mind remembering and connecting details like that!
I'm thinking that perhaps not everyone sits there shouting "stab it", "kill it" "you mong, how did you not hear that coming".
Am suprised we haven't needed a new TV really!

All the episode titles from 12 to the finale have been taken from Hershels speech back in Season 1 when he hands over the pocket watch after being asked why he keeps winding it.
In the first episode within Alexandria "Remember" Rick starts winding his watch when he's deciding if they should stay.
Episode 12-Remember
Episode 13-Forget
Episode 14-Spend
Episode 15-Try
Episode 16-Conquer
Hershal:"I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you may forget it. For a moment, now and then, and not spend all of your breath trying to conquer it.’”
I think it was actually Dale who gave that speech, wasn't it? Herschel doesn't pop up until the season 2.In the first episode within Alexandria "Remember" Rick starts winding his watch when he's deciding if they should stay.
Episode 12-Remember
Episode 13-Forget
Episode 14-Spend
Episode 15-Try
Episode 16-Conquer
Hershal:"I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you may forget it. For a moment, now and then, and not spend all of your breath trying to conquer it.’”

Finally caught up.
I've got to be honest, I'm getting a tad bored of it now. I hope the last 3 episodes are good enough to make me want to come back for series 6.
Kinda how I'm feeling. It was great when you had seasons to smash through. A bad episode never mattered, waiting for it weekly is really putting me off it. I've got to be honest, I'm getting a tad bored of it now. I hope the last 3 episodes are good enough to make me want to come back for series 6.

The first few seasons of Walking Dead are probably why everyone on here (myself included) got into the series. The excellent first few seasons generally followed the original comic book storyline. Then all of a sudden new writers came on board and decided to take it off in random new directions, away from the original story. The result was filler episode after filler episode dressed up as character development etc. Basically utter rubbish.
Sadly this means that expectations have been lowered to the point where these past two Alexandria episodes seem yet more of the same.
They are not.
These past two episodes are absolutely back on to the comic book storyline, as in they have almost lifted it word for word in places (see below). The old writers have left. Think of these last two episodes as a reboot. There's not a single scene, glance, comment that isn't a precursor of what's to come. And there is a LOT to come
