Incredible how quickly they all got released from "investigation" after everything that happened hehe Plus after all that beating Mac didn't even need to go to Hotten General to be cured, he was alright after a couple of hours in the Police station hehe

More amusement value on Wednesday night with the quick call between Amy & Chloe where we discovered Chloe had "just landed in Nice" laugh: Blimey the Police really did clear that investigation quickly if she's already been able to leave the country hehe Even more amusing was the brief reference by Amy to Matty about "a bag of cash" that Chloe had taken with her - presumably having been secretly lifted from the car / house / etc without the Police finding it after a search - fking hell laugh
It's certainly all been on fast-forward and skip the details - Also Suni being so stressed and frightened after the recent attack.... all of a sudden.. just gone and back to normal...!

Another divorce in the village? (Marlon/Rhona)
A bit obvious that Gus was going to leave the baby and Rhona would want to keep it
Wonder how far they take the storyline with Charity as she now appears to be suffering the effects of shooting Chloe's dad

Can't help thinking if Belle does marry Tom King she'll eventually be a victim of domestic violence.. He has hit her before, and then offered a grovelling apology.....!

Like the way Tracy is now blackmailing Caleb - Not sure how long she'll have the better of him though..!

Caleb and Tracey had an affair with both being willing and enthusiastic parties, certainly they both had full agency.

Affair goes sour and Tracey blames Caleb for the affair, reinforced by Moira saying “you’re not the first woman to be treat badly”…….ffs.

This sort of approach in soaps etc is one of the reasons how the men = bad, women= good myth is perpetuated in society…..

Got to say both Mac and Charity would be getting some kind of counselling help with the fall out from the kidnap/shooting through the police / victim support etc….

Important question about this episode. Can the Insignia Estate be had with an automatic with a diesel engine? Pedantic I know, but it is important.

And being Emmerdale I guess the chances of Arron/Mack in a stolen vehicle being involved is very high, will be surprised if they are not

Difficult this one, they could both be lying to cast doubt on who was driving so difficult to secure a conviction (they get away with it on all the police shows wink )

As for Mary and Suzy.... looks that way

Just over thinking the 'who was driving' thing, surely due to the force of the impact being head first the driver & passenger will have corresponding bruises from their seatbelt about who was sitting where?

I believe one of the episodes of Crash Detectives (BBC2 iPlayer) featured a similar situation and they were able to tell who was driving from the DNA on the steering wheel

And wouldn't there be hair evidence on the cars individual headrests too? DNA check both hair samples and you'd have a result!

DNA evidence on the steering wheel airbag will sort it, Kathy drove the car to start with but Angel could have taken over, I guess we will find out next week

Angel seems rather furtive whilst Cathy seems to be very vocal! Would be ironic if she gets charged for the offence and Angel was actually driving.
