Only series in a while that I felt I couldn't miss. Hope they keep it up.

Post deleted with no explanation? Perhaps the plot of the next series is around ghost internet threads?

I bought the box set of this from Amazon (we very rarely watch live TV), and we watched it all yesterday - never meant to. I was going to watch a couple of episodes and then watch the rest today (Sunday)

We couldn't stop watching it, what a brilliant series! Everything about it was nigh on perfect, plot, tension, scenery, acting, and the ending covered all the bases with no loose ends so had a satisfying (if shocking) conclusion.

Without doubt, one of the best UK drama series' I have ever watched.

Just watched all bar the last episode back to back! Really want to watch the last one, but work in the morning!

On the contrary, I saw Happy Valley first, and watched Broadchurch after people recommended it following my Happy Valley ravings!

What's next???

Rumour has it they are (or were) filming a new series of Broadchurch in Bracknell this week.

Hopefully we'll get it in the US soon after. The execrable remake "Gracepoint" has just finished here. Tennant reprised his role but with a US accent. Actually it wasn't terrible by American standards, just when compared to Broadchurch.

My infinitely better half and I finished watching the whole of series 1 last night having had it given to us on DVD. I was pleased with it. I started to think about the DS's hubby in episode 7 as he was physically similar to PQ's son.

In somw ways The Missing on BBC1, which played so much more on the parents did put this slightly in the hade on that score, but I thought the writing and acting of Danny's mum was good, and also his sister who just wanted to be happy without feeling guilty was very true for bereaved peole.

As others have posted - the 'How could you not know?' line was excellent.

Roll on Monday biggrin

Was scrolling through NetFlix a couple of nights ago and thought I'd give this series a watch. Have just watched the final episode. Bloody brilliant plus there seems to be a lot of dust in the lounge these past few nights.

PS Blimey! I see a new series starts tonight. I wonder how they will make it as emotional for this one was all about losing a child, well children as the newsagent and PQ lost theirs too.

Having seen a lot of the filming for this season of Broadchurch, I can confirm I don't have a clue what's going on hehe
