The over blown verbosity of every sentence does my head in. Particularly of Lady Glass.
Couldn’t agree more. It became tedious. Good series but the above got to me
Vinnie jones’ dialogue was simple and in contrast felt like Anthony Hopkins or another superb actor when he appeared.
6-7 out of 10 for me and much better than sexy beast series.

I loved this series but agree with a lot of the above.
This is my favourite genre by far, any British crime based film/show is on my list but so many seem to be written and acted for the US audience.
Having grown up in the 80s in east London it’s just not how these types spoke.
But this isn’t just a Guy Ritchie thing it’s across all the gangster films/shows.

It's a Richie trope, now copied by many. I enjoy his style. This is my favourite genre by far, any British crime based film/show is on my list but so many seem to be written and acted for the US audience.

I enjoyed it, haven't seen the Gentlemen film - so nothing to compare it to.
I thought it was supposed to be serious, until I realised it was more comedy than serious.. Then I really enjoyed it.
Kaya Scodelario is nice too. I also didn't watch Skins, so some people have said seeing her in that put them off her.
Can also agree with Theo James as a bond in the future.

I thought it was brilliant and look forward to a series 2.
Contrary to others, I liked the scripting, the Susie Glass character reminds me of Lilly Allen who tends to use lots of words to make you think she is cleverer than she is.
We both thought that Theo James could be a perfect fit for the next James Bond, but the characters of Jimmy and Freddy made this an ace comedy.

Likely to be a series two you think ?
