Was this one better? I saw the Intro/Contents, and turned it off.

Only caught the end.

Wasp bombing was quite good - but what was the whole 'awkward guy on a date' sketch about?!.. So it was supposed to be cringewothy?

I thought it was very self-indulgent.

His previous programmes have been very good, this was just an unstructured mish-mash of useless features under the pretense of 'educating' modern man. frown

I thought it had promise on the first episode and thought it might improve but struggled through the rest. D-. Can do better.

I found "Wallace and Gromit world of invention" for more interesting.

"This is a set square, 37% of men have used it as a hammer". WTF. This weeks episode is woeful. I think the BBC threw some money at him and were hoping that it might be the new Top Gear. Fail.

Launched 30-07-2011 so I suspect this is a new one, it came right over my bloody house!

Wow, that show is plain bad. So bad I felt the need to come here and post about how bad it is. Funny how when Clarkson isn't involved and May/Hammond try and copy the format and fill it themselves with other stuff to make men interested, they fail so resoundingly.

Not true - May's programs are usually ok - his science ones (the name escapes me, on dave a fair bit) and the toys one were excellent. This was a flop.

Hammond did ok with brainiac, but has done plenty of die stuff to cancel it out.

It was much better than the first series and some of it was interesting.

I liked the balloon in orbit bit. Its just a shame that they did not show more of the technical side of it.
