I quite enjoyed this weeks episode, then I realised why... because Carrie feckin whingebag Mathison wasn't in it so much! Does she ever stop whining!

It makes me laugh when she gets her "I'm about to cry" face on. That bottom lips starts going and I can't help myself. laugh

I also enjoyed it.

I think Saul is fantastic to watch. Although find it frustrating he is not seeing the truth in Alison(?). He's far too clever not to suspect her.

I felt from this week's episode that he's onto her, but keeping quiet about it for the moment.

My wife is convinced that both Saul and Carrie know about Allison but are playing along with her. I disagree.

From the actions of Saul this week and his initial refusal to help Carrie it's pretty clear he didn't have a clue what was going on.

Didn't know he was being followed, no clue about the Russians, the Israel link Dar accused him of, getting frozen out. Going to that bloke to pass Carrie info.

I don't get why Carrie didn't say to Saul that when she called the only number on that Russian hitmans mobile a certain female voice answered.

For that to be the case, he'd have to have completely lost his touch.
I don't really buy it, I suspect he's playing the long game to flush out the mole. As said, from this week's episode (UK), I feel that he's suspicious of Alison.
He might not have a clue of course, and might well be guilty of letting the chance of a bit of sex cloud his judgement.

I reckon like "organised showers" it's another one of those odd new weather terms being used on forecasts these days. Personally I'm quite partial to a warm front.

Liking the series so far and finding Saul's not so secret squeeze oddly alluring.

I've just caught up to date on this series. So many parallels with current events. Especially Quinn's angry monologue at Langley in episode 1.

It has been mentioned I am sure a couple of times.... Adal was always portrayed as the dark, shadowy chap behind the scenes who was undoubtedly 'dirty' despite going back some 30+ years with Saul.
Yeah, he killed Mozart! laugh

How come Saul is super stupid in this series. Him and Dar are seasoned intelligence officers. Makes me wonder if they already gaming the russians?

I thought it odd that when Saul was arguing with Dar it was a bit OTT - on purpose?

To that point the only reason Saul had to say it was the Russians was Carries' tearful reuinion speech - which of course he couldn't tell anyone about...

that stretched credibility a bit for me...unless its was a ruse - who'da thunk it??

I was thinking about a previous episode when Dal and Saul are talking. Dal says something to the effect of "we got the green light... and you thought we had lost our operational balls".

I was thinking this was to do with the hit on Carrie but now I'm beginning to think the it may have been referring to the dirty station chief, could Saul and Dal actually be playing her?

I knew I'd seen the actor playing Dar in something else, only one of my favorite films - Scarface

Seem to remember he left that film dangling from a rope around his neck out of a helicopter, lets hope the same doesn't happen in Homeland..........

I found last nights episode interesting but a bit slow. I really struggle to believe Saul has dropped the ball completely. It just doesn't add up.
