Mitchell and Webb were credited as the voices of the robots
Funnyily enough thtat was the only bit of the episode that annoyed me. There were two seperate sets of credit for the Robots 1 & 2, one with names I didn't recognise and the other with Mitchell & Webb.
I wonder if they had to reshoots?

I thought it very weak. As they were riding the dinosaur I said to my son "it's turned into Hitch-hikers". I love Hitch-hikers, but it's meant to be a comedy, Dr. Who is not. The beach inside a spaceship "very improbable".
I agree on the killing thing, I was expecting us to not see the missiles hit the ship. perhaps they could have turned into a bowl of petunias.
Since when? I agree on the killing thing, I was expecting us to not see the missiles hit the ship. perhaps they could have turned into a bowl of petunias.
Doctor Who was and is primarily a kids show, it's grown up a little bit but its shown on Saturday prime time, not a late night slot on Thursday or something. It's always been funny.
As for the beach being imporbable, really? You found that improbable? Have you not watched much of DW or something?
I enjoyed it.
...and Ali...last week's episode..."who killed all the Daleks?"
The Doctor kills. Christopher Ecclestone's Doctor was very vengeful, the Tennant Doctor credits Rose with taking away his anger. The Doctor always says though when he is made anew "what kind of man am I?", but that seems to have been forgotton with Matt Smith. He is a different Doctor to Tennant and we seem to think because he has a slightly silly aspect that he is all light and fluffy and in line with Tennant, but he is actually far more inline with Ecclestone. I think Smith has drawn a very interesting and complex character that quite a few people have not yet picked up on. He is a much darker Doctor than Tennant.

But he hasn't. He keeps thinking they are all dead & feeling remorse for it, he blames himself for their deaths as well as the Time Lords.
True, but there is always an out given - it appears I missed it, but I was bored & not really paying attention by that point
Fingers crossed this weeks keeps me gripped, as normal!

The Daleks were reborn in the "Victory of the Daleks" where it was explained that they escaped the Time lock but had no power and could not create more Daleks because the "Progenitor" would not recognise their DNA as it "polluted" by Davros's DNA. The Doctor confirmed they were Daleks and the "Progenitor" would then create the "new" Daleks nobody liked.
"A Town called Malice" addresses the Doctor's new ruthless streak and we need to take note of the Doctor's age?

I've also noticed that "Commander Strax" is in the Christmas Special. Perhaps something to do with the Doctor's Age as He died at "Demon's Run". We also seem to have a "Jenny" "Jenny Who?" you may ask?
Interesting - I wondered if she would re-appear - Would be neat if they tied the family tree together and explained the grand-daughter that travelled with the Doctor (incarnation no.3 - Jon Pertwee)Silver Smudger said:

Susan Foreman, the first companion, travelled with the first Doctor (William Hartnell) and referred to him as grandfather. I don't think the genealogy has ever been properly confirmed.Silver Smudger said:
