Even I am going to wait until i have watched it before I slag it off.
I'll reserve final judgement until I have seen it - but it's natural to judge movies based on their trailers, even if that judgement is incorrect. However I have seen plenty of movies where the trailer made the movie look great - but where the final product was rather less so......but I dont think I have ever seen a trailer that I thought was crap - but where the movie was awesome.
Just saying.......

Jeez. I consider myself to be the biggest GB fan the world has ever seen - watched it hundreds of times, know every word, have the screenplay literally 'own the t-shirt'

I had a feeling that getting these 4 useless tts to on board was a bad idea, the trailer makes it look even worse than is humanly comprehensible.
And yet...you've managed to comprehend it!DanielSan said:

If this movie flops - it'll be because 'sexism' - not because it was a crap movie that is trying unnecessarily to be 'right on' and PC and seem to have some spectacularly misjudged slapstick humour.
What I don't get is:
1. Can't women be portrayed as strong and independent - unless they are also shouty and obnoxious (and in some cases violent).
2. Can't women be funny unless they are using crude sexual innuendos, toilet humour etc
In Paul Feig's universe - it would appear not.
Yes he's put out a couple of decent movies - I quite like 'The Heat' and 'Spy' - but I think he has misjudged this one quite badly.
When adjusted for inflation - the original Ghostbusters is the 34th highest grossing movie of all time (and by the looks of it - this highest grossing comedy of all time).

When you are trying to continue a franchise like that - you have to get it bang on.

I try not to be one of those "I don't know who these people are" person. But who the fk are these lot? Not much in the totty department either. The red (ish) head Jennifer Aniston wannabe is OK in a MILF sort of way but missed opportunity there I feel.
One thing i will say for the film is that the leads do have the look of everyday people and haven't just stepped off a catwalk. McCarthy and wigg have done some pretty high profile stuff, not sure about the other two thoughCrutyRammers said:
The youtube comments are about a gizzillion times more entertaining than the trailer:

You could say the same about the original foursome. Unless you were into US commedians you know, like....30 years ago in 1984. Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
