In America? biggrin
yes, in America they have big diesel trucks,
A mate of mine drives a diesel in the DC area, there is one station that he can use that is in a reasonable distance from him that he can fill up at. I think if you weren't a trucker, you'd struggle.
so what do trucks do? 'big rigs'
(and I'm talking about getting diesel out of trucks anyway)
Do trucks have special truck stations? I dunno. I suppose they meter their journeys and know where they can fill up, or at the depot? My brother uses the commercial depot at rock oil to fill up.
I hadn't thought of siphoning fuel from trucks hough.

problem is with any pit or wall barricade scenario, that is attracting more and more zombies, is eventually they will fill up (quarry) or will climb on top of each other to breach a wall, you're talking about 100s of thousands potentially over time. As discussed in World War Z (the book) and shown in rather silly way in the film.
So surely you have a bonfire? Few Molotovs to light it, clothes & so on would get it properly going especially in a crowd. And it's not like you'd have to fully incinerate them, you only need a bit of cooking to put them past the point where they'd be a problem.

only if you got a full-on massive swarm, which would overwhelm your walls too

my plan involved spearing them in the moat regularly, and scooping out the 'fully dead' ones with a digger/dozer regularly

Fire doesn't really stop them very effectively. Plus the ones from S4 on the train tracks on the way to Terminus, they just kept going. You'd need a fire hose and a very flammable liquid to have a lasting effect IMO.

Brilliant episode again, but perhaps people shouldn't make comments like above until after it has aired in the UK.
Mine?! That's like me suggesting a movie to someone and saying it's amazing, I haven't spoiled anything! getmecoat

I will respond after the show has aired in the UK.

Whilst I am not a fault and agree that the initial comments weren't in the spirit of a UK based thread, do you really have to resort to such crass use of language? It marks you out as somewhat of a dimwit.

Be quiet mate, I've hardly ruined your Monday nights viewing have I? You're just making yourself look like a fool.

We've been over this over and over, so maybe you can appreciate the frustration.

If someone died and made me a mod I'd ban anyone who spoils from a thread.

It wasn't a spoiler though, so just chill. My apologies.

Apologies, I only watched it on catch up until half way through S5, so I've never followed a thread until now. Appreciate that there may be frustrations, but there's no need to act like a petulant child, SkySailing didn't give anything away although I must admit I was pissed off when I read his comments about 30 mins before I watched the show. I'll not be coming on the thread until the episode has aired in the US and UK from now on, maybe you should do the same.

SkySailing, I think the best thing to do before the UK has seen it is to just say "great episode" or "not a great episode" etc, etc, but don't elaborate. Especially as you've read the comics, people like to watch things with no prior clue as to what will happen. Granted, they could just stay away from the thread until they've seen it, but obviously different people make different decisions.

Was a brilliant episode though smile

Listen newbie. For that is what you are. For years we've had a thread on TWD and the rule is no spoilers before UK airing.

Since the start of this thread your posts have been alluding to events coming, or spoiling, or hyping, or winking hinting at things to come. I can see you've read the comics from your comments. I can see you stay up, download the programme and watch it overnight. And then post here immediately about it.

This is not how we do things here. No spoilers as to future events in the TV show, discussion only after the UK air time. That's the way it is.

Sorry but no, not even that. If someone comes in and says 'st episode' that is a spoiler in itself.

Do you really think that because your post count is higher than me, that you're a better person, or higher up? Get off your high horse.

I've apologised, if you can't accept that, it just proves how much of a "petulant child" you are. Save it, because I don't wanna hear it.

Your definition of a spoiler is quite simply pathetic.
