Ego, couldn't stand someone else getting credit for his talent and hard work.

I am still up in the air about how I would like to see the series finish. Who wins, who loses, I know my thoughts on various characters and how I would like to see them progress has changed quite a bit in this series.

Watched the most recent episode last night- it's a belter yes

what puzzles me though - and obviously it's Walt's drunkeness - is why he bloody had to say something about the genius. Just let it go and you're in the clear. But no, he has to say something.

Everything that's ever happened in this program is due to someone saying/doing something stupid.
Ego and Hubris + wine + the orchestrated events of the day making him feel small and insignificant!

Very well written!

Oh absolutely - but, it's weird. I want to see him do everything properly, make st loads of money and be really clinical in his approach to perfect work.

However, if he did that there'd be no story hehe

There would still be a story and a good one I think, but there wouldn't be enough drama to hold the attention of the average TV viewer.

TV Soaps are successful for a reason. smile

I want this too.... eventually and I also went it for Jesse too..... eventually!

First we need the trials and tribulations to continue aplenty biggrin

Then they can both ride off into the sunset as billionaires and on amicable terms with Gustavo and Mike. Years later a one-off mini series could catch up with them as they re-unite and regale at their stupendous journey to riches and continued anonymity from the law... smokin

Ok I'll stop...

What's happened to Skyler? She's not going to burn off that puppy fat by bedding Walt. She used to be a real minx but now looks tubby.

If she got some of that crystal down her neck it might increase her metabolism a tad..

The forthcoming battle between Walt and Hank now has some potential.Things are starting to line up nicely.

No you don't.Not really..when you remember Walt justifies his actions at the beginning because he has a life threatening disease and thought he was going to die.

Solid Episode. Walt is continuing to evolve as is the relationship between Mike and Jesse. Also Walt bought his kid my dream car now if he's only get rid of his own hideous van.

I think the Aztec is the best piece of casting in the show! It's not just that it's a hideous car, but it's the worst colour imaginable too.

I liked him tipping his coffee at the camera with the cleaners do thing their thang.. just knowing what was coming.

It now seems its walt on the endangered species list and Jessie rising to the position of power!

I completely disagree. Gus is smoothly winning the mind of Jesse to get him on his side via Mike. He is getting him clean and making him feel worthwhile. Walt figured it out. Walt also realizes that should something happen to him Gus' entire operation comes to a screeching halt so therefore he is temporarily untouchable. Jesse is never going to surpass Walt and is only useful as a means of controlling Walt. I do think that you are right Walt's sense of power is starting to corrupt him if only slightly and causing him to take silly risks to exert his power

Yup - Walt's sense of power is starting to overcome him - and I think it's driving a wedge between him and Jesse. That "it's all about me" was a big tipping point I think. Especially as Jesse's feeling pretty good right now.

Walt is getting angrier about it all, too - and will do something stupid. Let's not forget he walked to the chicken place to try and kill Gus last week!

Fantastic episode, it just keeps getting better and better! Hank shakes off the dark cloud that he was living under and really spices things up.

I still don't get why Jessie in Gus and Mike's good books though.

BOOM! Now we're talking! Great Ep!

As for Jessie, simple, make him a friend and weaken WW, alienate him and WW and expect a plot.

It seemed like the last couple episodes had a lot happen to propel the story line forward. Just when I had pretty much dismissed Hank he comes into his own. Notice also how he has made huge progress in his ability to walk as he sunk his teeth into this. I was still unclear as to what exactly the cartel wanted form GUS. I also had no idea to use your UK word how "minted" both GUS and Walt were. I also like the shift of trying to test and shift Jessie's loyalty
