Getting close to the end of Book 3, I can pretty much guarantee that there will be much, much more going on in the next series hehe

If she didnt realise the dragons would grow she is going to be very shocked by some of the future events so dont worry!
It wasn't the dragons, it was the stuff about Sam

Can anybody explain why Sansa Stark was still in Kings Landing? The last she was seen in the penultimate episode was when she was leaving with the Hound. Have I missed something?

Yes, she didn't leave. smile

We saw her standing in her room watching the Hound leave.

So come on then guys. 2 seasons gone and its time to talk about casting.

Who is your favourite character/actor thus far?
Has to be little Tyrion really doesnt it......He seems to take control of any scene he is in. Notsure where the hell he came from or where they found him but someone needs a bonus. Honourable mention to that horrid creature on the throne. I find it hard to believe he is a real person that is actually a nice guy.

Who do you want to see more of?
Waiting and hoping 'The Hound' gets more screentime. He has been made too much of a bit part character in the TV series for my liking. I think he is far more important than that.

Who is surprising you with their ability?
I must admit when first cast I thought Maisy Williams was possibly too 'pretty and girlie' to play a 'rough' character like Arya BUT I must admit her acting ability is very very good. The line 'I eat alot but still dont grow' when eating Tywins dinner.

I agree with all of the above plus

Danerys is very good but I wish they would stop changing all of the stuff that happens around her

The whole thing needs more wolf time

On the whole, the casting is excellent IMO. One of the best things on TV for some time

Wolfs are hard because PETA get their knickers in a twist. I think I read that the 2 wolves they use have something like 20 staff. I know the wolf support staff is bigger than the acting support staff.

Ill spoiler tag the rest as I dont want anyone crying about their Mrs reading over their shoulder :P

I have to admit Im really impressed with Jerome Flynn. OK he gets to work with Tyrion a lot so that raises the bar but I think he is holding his own.

Casting for third series, Brian Blessed for Tormund, James Purfoy for Mance, Judi Dench for Queen of Thorns

Philip Glenisster as I think he would be good for dropping the c word at times, not sure of the role, maybe he and his brother could be the Kettleblacks. Katie McGrath as shes hot, Irish and a fan of the books, Oded Fehr as either the Viper or Daario

Just to ps off Halb Id like to see Cillian Murphy as Halbs man crush Ramsey. Or maybe David Tennant

Id also like to see Kelly Brook in it somewhere, possibly a small part but im sure she can make it big!

The Danerys changes aren't that fundamental I think, they do it to cut time? I am a bit miffed that that sexy handmaiden has gone. And I was hoping to see Arstan.biggrin

I always liked Maisy, a right little Tyke Tyler. I like Tyrion, but also like Bron and Varys. I could listen to Varys read out a sauce bottle list of ingredients. The Hounds 'fk the king' line was a long time coming, and quite understated.biggrin
And oh yeah, the insect King is truly vile.

Also the wolves (dogs) are too hard to direct.
Yeah I have not seen JF in much but the Bron character is just so cool, does he get all the best lines? *when referring to his father* 'You wouldn't know him', and' there's no cure for being a '. The delivery of his lines is spot on. I'll doubt we'll see the Kettleblacks, the Hound is a big character and we don't get to see him much, unless the episodes get longer or we get another two eps, like the Sopranos.
...man crush..yes...yes that's what it is....Cillian doesn't have the physicality, Ramsay is a man who (yes I know it was cut out) grabbed a man's arm with armour on and hacked it off in one fell swoop.

Any dialogue between Varys and Tyrion is a joy.

I reckon the wolves could be done perfectly well by computer animation, after all it works with dragons and they are notoriously hard to direct smile

CGI is very expensive as well to do properly though. I don't mind the wolves not being in it so much as its done very well.

I didn't imagine Ramsey like that at all, I thought he would be a skinny person rather than heavily built. I may be totally wrong.

He may be, just a few things he did (like slicing off Ser Rodrick's arm) made me think he is a very capable/strong fighter.

I noticed her, she looks very old.
Who is Chance?

Chance was the pilot who had the bet with the Asian guy. The lady I only recognised the voice, she looked much older in Prometheus.

If we are being nerdy can anyone explain why Robb gave his vows to the Seven Gods at his Wedding when he is from the North and should of given them to the Old Gods?

He's all in the game.
He knows there'll be no noshing later if the bird isn't placated.

(yes I know she is from Volantis and I don't know what Gods they serve but the joke works best if you just ignore that)
