Last night was pretty terrible. I'd have happily given Mike £200 for those Advans even though they were looking pretty fooked hehe
"Mike, I'll give you £200"

"Ah, I can't... wot about £180?"

"I'm offering £200"

"Yow're killin' me, OK, £150...oldartyerand fella"

"I'll give you £200!"

"Owright, £120, let's shake on it"

An ideal opportunity to use the by now well worn phrase -

"well it still wasnt as bad a Classic car rescue.."

Worst WD ever! The world does not need another drift Skyline. Such as waste of a good car that could have been so much better frown

I think that Mike and Ed must have run out of ideas for the show.

That was terrible and a waste of a car.

Looking back over the last few years they have had some really good shows but this was the worse yet. Shame really as it could of been really good.

I thought it couldn't get any worse than the Willy's Jeep show where he pointed proudly to the sky and told us a genuine Spitfire was flying past...which was actually a Hurricane.

Then i watched last night...

Drift car. Really?

On Facebook Mike said that at the time he said that a Spitfire flew by, but the editor put in footage of a Hurricane. Whether this is true or not, I don't know.

The Drift car was a bit unnecessary , It would have been OK just as a Skyline , leave the spoiler alone , don't bother with the drift suspension geometry and spend the extra on more BHP , not into modding much myself but showing how to add BHP sensibly with ECU mapping ,changing boost levels , maybe different injectors etc as well as the FMIC would have had a broader appeal . The car itself looked ok apart from the horrific spoiler and grommet filled holes

Standard.

On the face of it he has got quite a good deal so far.

Odd that he removed triple carburettors from an injection engine though...

That's what bothered me too...

Overall, a fantastic episode. The best in this series IMO. I thoroughly enjoyed all the technical bits.

Best one for a while tonight IMO.

The head work was very interesting as was waterless coolant.

Never heard of the latter.
