We've got two to come, so it'll all come good.

I'm not watching Rich W's link incase it's spoilery. If things are going to get posted ahead of it being on Channel 4, I might dodge this thread for a while, I don't want to know stuff about the last two episodes.

Fair point though the link is just to the original trailer for the series and quite innocuous I would say.

But it's a decent point about spoilers.

Moving on quite like the way the timeline jumps backwards and forwards to show how things on particular arcs of the plot may develop. Could be useful to avoid a huge session of tying up loose ends in the last episode which always seems messy.

We watched episode 8 the other day and my lovely girlfriend got very confused, even after looking it up, and she convinced us both that there were only 8 episodes and we'd just watched the final one - leaving almost every character and storyline completely unfinished. Christ I was confused, what a weird ending to the series.

And then i came to read other people's thoughts and explanations about what it all meant on here and find that there are still two left! Phew! Yay!

They better be good...

If that had been the last episode (minus the very last bit). I would have been happy, it would have been very Coen.
The fact we have two left...will the ending be Coen still, or will they wrap it up all cosy and Hollywood...?

"And now on Channel 4 the concluding part of Fargo, specially written this week by guest writer George RR Martin."

I quite like this it's shot well, the story is quite interesting, it's 'realistic' plus it's based on a true story which makes the whole thing seem more tragic not just another story. My main criticim is that like some Coen/Epic movies the slower pace makes it duller. I think they could have edited it down to about three quarters of the time and it would have gained a lot.

I like Martin Freeman but I think they should have chosen somebody else to bring a little more darkness out of that character. I find myself almost sympathising with 'Lester' because it's Martin playing him.
I think Billy Bob was a good choice for 'Malvo' his slightly creepy smile, laid back voice and worn looking face suit playing a psycho drifter.

I think it's going to get more interesting again now Malvo is back plus the police seem to be getting back 'on the case'. His time is running out you can see it coming and not just because there are only two episodes. biggrin
I haven't seen the movie so I can't compare this to that.

Sorry. I should have made clear it was the original trailer for the series on YouTube. Not spoilers as such.

Spoiler promo for Episode 10 (finale) DON'T WATCH UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN EP9

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eI9vo8b7MjQ

Then my predictions

Lester confesses to Molly for witness protection
Malvo, kills Lester but records it for his tape collection.
possible Gus runs into Malvo again. But is spared like last time (why did he spare him? He's not a threat to him?)
THe FBI guys corner Malvo
Malvo gets away.
Molly is promoted to Chief.
Mt Wrench returns somehow

Thanks for the video - intriguing!

That's what I'm enjoying so much about this series - you just can't predict where it's going to go.

We should have a sweepstake on which major characters are going to get killed in the last episode. hehe

I fking love this program.

Can we stop making predictions on things when you're in front of the rest of us, I've avoided posting here all week since someone mentioned spoilers and now I'm thinking about Leicester confessing to molly only a quarter of the way through this episode irked

I'm not looking back in here until the end of the series now.

I'm fed up with it too, the title of the thread is Fargo C4.

Anyhoo, just watched it. Lester causing the deaths of those three at the start...what was he thinking? Dirty little weasel, I'd quite like Malvo to off him and get clean away now.
