I agree. The same format but with different presenters is always going to invite comparison.Its rare that the sequel is better than the original so they should have taken this opportunity to try some changes.

So far, it's not.
Perhaps I'm missing something, but it amazes me they felt the need to recreate the old Top Gear but with different people.. It will never be as good, or better as it will always live in the shadow of the old format. They need to make change, take a risk and find a new audience. This 'low risk' approach is actually far more risky, particularly when it is, well naff.
