So was the message from The DP Crew genuine or fake?

The only thing worse than the drivel in the afternoons is the 'Sunday love songs'.
I listened to this for the first time last week - without realising what it was. I thought to myself "there are a lot of terrible love songs on this show - it's doing my head in". Now I know why.

The man is a tt and his patter is pish. I also hate it when he just talks all over the start and end of songs.

I really miss when Mark Radcliffe and Liza Turbuck/Emma Forbes stood in for Wrighty, many a laugh out loud moment and entertaining afternoon radio.

Wrighty was funny twice back in the eighties.
As much as twice? I cannot listen to SW - it's a CD on the way home until Simon Mayo comes on.

What gets me is how he starts the show off on his own and then about half an hour in his 'operatives' appear and he does refer to them as that - what a condescending tt.

Not too much gets me shouting at the radio but Steve Wright manages it. An utter bell-end. Unfunny, dull and regurgitating internet ste as broadcasting.

Although, in fairness, I can't stand Ken Bruce either. And as for that sanctimonious Jeremy Vine...

Not sure why I listen to R2 really!

Steve Wright rhymes with ste. As regards Chris Evans' show he's not much better. Moira Stewart once regarded as a respected news reader has now turned herself into a complete laughing stock with that ridiculous cackle and other weird sound effects. Sounds like a right old witch!

has anybody ever worked out what percentage of his show is taken up by those annoying jingles - seems more than the music?

I think the chemistry between Evans and Stewart is excellent - listen to it in the gym in the mornings.

If he's on >£100k a year, he really ought to think twice about shopping at Burton. The fat .

I am pretty sure the picture of Steve Wright in the reception area at Broadcasting house looks nothing like the puffy, greasy individual pictured above.
