Well .....Who did it ?
I still wonder about the Detective Sergeant's husband. The slow mo moody scenes have been entertaining, was wondering if without them it could have been 7 not 8 episodes....

Not a clue the sub plots are just too numerous to have any idea. I still wonder about the Detective Sergeant's husband. At least we know that the detective has heart trouble curable (possibly) with a pacemaker.Tennant asking for the boys computer info being sent to his personal email, could
allow him to die / seriously ill and those details lost to the investigation.
My guess is a link between the boy / bullying and a collaboration to the main suspect
(crossbow man..) or perhaps boys father who seems to have been entirely missed from the whole plot for now.

Last night's was the best episode yet, threw up all sort of possibilities, even a hunting accident and very clever the way it switched sympathy towards Tennant's character. I'm beginning to suspect the vicar more and more, but overall I have enjoyed Broadchurch, it's helped to get me through the extended winter.

I was going for Olivia Coleman's (policewoman) husband but maybe that is now too obvious. Hunting accident possible but lame after 8 episodes. How about the junior reporter, nothing ever happens in Broadchurch and he wants a big story to make a name for himself?
Personally, I think it's going to be multiple people. There seems to be a lot of "goings on at night", involving the adult and younger men of the village, and something has gone wrong resulting in a killing of some sort. .Very much enjoyed last night's show - things started to move at last, but I also fear Tennent's character isn't going to survive, taking something useful with him (perhaps it will be the person responsible getting away with it, but because the killing itself will have fallen in some grey area of morality, we as viewers migth be comfortable in it never being revealed fully, or it brings some redemption to either Tennent or another character this way).
Strangely, I was really happy that the poor doog didn't get shot after all!

So is the psychic bloke really pyschic or, if not, how did he know about the pendant....
....unless he stole it from the car.
And what's this got to do with the death?
It has struck me that the psychic red herring could turn out to be a central part of the finale. But my money on balance (internet lolly) is still on the son of the female detective or her husband. But there are enough possibilities to allow virtually any of the main characters to be the killer. Could there be a connection with the previous failed investigation by the Det Inspector? Who knows. the writers presumably?....unless he stole it from the car.
And what's this got to do with the death?
