How Lost should have ended (No spoilers in it)

I am prponent of once you start you finish.

Yes it goes crap in the middle but you do loo kforward to the ended.

Also it might work out a LITTLE better if you watch it all crammed in rather than over 6 years or so.

I watched the whole thing.

If I ever meet one of the writers, I'm going to kick him in the nuts.
Couldn't have put it better myself!

Yes, 'Lost' got lost along the way, but it was a great journey while it lasted.

What happened to LOST is quite clearly what happens to a lot of other shows - just that LOST took it to the extreme.

They planned for a season and when it got popular they had to then extended it and eventually had to start making st up which made it go on on a tangent.

The first few seasons of lost were incredible. I still did enjoy it right up until the final season but it really just did start to fall apart and make naff all sense. Which is a huge shame and discredits the rest of the series..... I still think its definitely worth a watch and worth finishing though

Get out while you still can.
^^This

It's starts pretty much like Prison Break and White Collar. Season 1 is simply excellent TV.

From thereon it simply goes downhill.

Do yourself a favour and stop watching it now. I'm with the other posters on this thread so don't need to convince you any further....

And Heroes.

Most of those kind of TV series I got out before they got crappy, but there were so many unanswered questions in Lost that I had to keep watching to find out... banghead

The problem is they never answered 90% of them! It was utter tripe.

Glad to see that time hasn't changed opinions of Lost.

The main reason to get annoyed with the writers is that they depended on a huge mystery - why was all this stuff happening? - and promised us that they had it all worked out - ie. they would answer why it was all happening. The whole final season makes it clear that this was not true, and that basically they had been making it up all along.

If all your tv programme is based on is the equivalent of teenage boys going 'wouldn't it be cool if a polar bear skydives into a volcano?' (not a spoiler), the end result is a mess that is going to disappoint. Even more so if they promise you they have a good reason for the volcano, the polar bear and the skydiving.
