I've always thought Tom Hardy a bit over rated but the character he plays in this really is superb.
I was laughing quite a lot at some of the conversations between Alfie and others.

and for the bit with TH toting up the bill.
I was laughing so much at that bit, especially the final item smile

"Right, well, you will have to add another ton onto your bill, for being a c**t mate, alright?"

I can think of one or two people who'll be hearing that one.

I've tried to get into it but I keep thinking it's a spaghetti western set in Brum, especially when I see Tommy walking with his arms spread for a quick draw.

Extra marks for having a Lewis gun stashed, and for the bit with TH toting up the bill.
the shoot out scene was nicely choreographed and styled but I did think "if you were luring them into a trap you would have a couple of hired gunman hidden on the other side of the landing and take them all out"

I'm really impressed with the cars that the main protagonists drive - Tommys Bentley saloon (a 4 1/2 litre I think) is lush, and Arthur has a rather rakish Vauxhall 30-98. Both very desirable cars in their day and today. On the flip side, they keep referring to it being winter and there's loads of greenery on the trees.

I have watched the first 3 series in about a week, belting stuff with a brilliant cast, can't get enough of it. Just about to start season 4 now. Any word on if there will be a season 5?

How foolish of you to come onto the thread 20 minutes after of the end of the series then.

WTF are you reading the thread for then Riley? It’s a thread about the program, you know, Peaky Blnders which was on tonight!

Jesus Christ man.

Anyway, a good & interesting end, more twists than a rollercoaster, roll on the next series.

After how Polly tried to give up Tommy to Alistair McGowan to save her son, I was expecting revenge on that score.
