DC don't tie into the TV shows at all - they have been pretty clear that the TV and movie universes are totally separate entities unlike the Marvel stuff which all takes place in a shared universe.
That's a mistake IMO. It is jarring. Marvel definitely have DC licked on this point. They actually appear to have a coherent overall plan where as DC just seem to throw stuff at a wall and see what sticks or if that fails, try to copy Marvel. It's a shame because I really like the DC universe too but they just don't seem to have anyone with a proper handle on the reigns.

Totally agree, it's like we are supposed to completely forget this actor that we have watched for several seasons, who we've invested time in and built some good will towards and replace them with some unknown who is playing the SAME character.

Wait until Justice League comes out. I think they are redefining the 'throw everything at the screen at once' statement for that one
DC are basically watching Marvel box offices numbers and are in a panic completely missing why the Marvel movies work.

Indeed. They should use Grant Gustin for Flash, he's brilliant.
Too squeaky clean for me. No 'edge'. Been done a million times in a million different TV series. Yawnsome.Guvernator said:

Am I the only person here that thought Captain America: Civil War was no way near as good as Batman vs Superman? I just thought this film was lukewarm.
You aren't alone, a couple of friends who saw it also thought it was meh and one of them is a big comic fan. He thought is sagged way too much in places and places it below AoU.Here's hoping Suicide Squad reverses the trend later this year...

Only issue with the second viewing was that I was itching to get to Black Panther, Spider-Man and Ant-Man (ok, the airport scene) and ithat sequence didn't last nearly long enough, pure joy.

Finally saw this last night (early release on Sky) - really enjoyed it, every bit as good as it promised to be. Forgot to watch to the end of the credits though, so will have to look out for that tonight.
Only bit that jarred slightly was Martin Freeman's role - not how he played it, or the character itself, just odd seeing 'the guy from the office' cropping up like that.
Very recommended to anyone that hasn't seen it yet.
