They were swerving to avoid the cars, hit one (big bus running over the back of a smaller car) and that was enough to turn it over. Eugene put glass in the fuel tank and it started leaking fuel (before the crash) and was supposed to run out just a few miles from the church, it didn't they crashed and the bus went up due to the open fuel line.

I was more "oh fk off" to yet another vehicle tripping over, not to the physics involved in it falling over. Why can't they just get down one road in one piece, driving so if it does go tits up then you don't have to swerve all over the place!
If we did go into tge physics of it then surely a bus of that size will just smash a car out of the way and not use it as a ramp as though the car is glued to the ground.

I thought there was a loud bang & a bit of smoke from under the bonnet (that obscured the view of the parked cars, leading to the swerving)? - I could be wrong though!

I agree, and also groaned when I saw it. American TV would have us believe that whenever any vehicle hits another, one will fly up in the air....

As for Eugene, he seemed to hit the floor hard!
He's now brain damaged, so fits right in with the rest of the gang...!

biggrin
Colouring books for christmas.

I really enjoyed the episode. preferred it to last weeks hospital one.

The back story and obviously his whole reason and mission coming to an end is an interesting theme. Which is surprising cos i only watch to see zombies being killed. I also liked the admission and you can see how the lie would get bigger and harder to own up.

ps in that situation id have executed him hes dead weight and his lies have caused peoples deaths.

I thought Rosetta was a lesbian? I'm almost sure Abraham said she was last season?!

Eugene inferred the fuel lines split (from the glass) over the engine, causing the petrol to spray and go boom boom. Still not sure how that caused it to flip, but I think the idea was explosion panic swerve et voila..

His intention was that it didn't even start past a basic idle.

The bus crash made me groan.
It felt like a bit of a filler episode to me.

Ok even but the mullet tips the scale towards execution. Actually no it doesn't he may not have needed to save any lives if they hadn't done the fake journy

Death.

I rewound the bus crash to watch again and try to work it out. Still have no idea but I was laughing!

I'm a bit gutted about the Eugene story line, but enjoyed how he got knocked out at the end. If he pulls his weight from now on, hopefully he can become a better character. I've been hoping he got killed from when he was first introduced.

Mmmm! he went down hard. Out like a light and straight down on his face. Dead or seriously injured for sure.

Yeah I thought that too..

If not though, isn't he supposed to be super smart? surely that would be useful even if he is a wimp.

Seems to be slightly autistic or something learning difficulty related.

I knew the lie would expose it self but was hoping they'd get to a big city.

Loved the zombie wash-down.

The Eugene battering...it was gruesome! He hit that floor hard, man!

Anyone else getting fed up with it?

I really thought we were on for a season with purpose, the writers certainly has me believing that, but no, it's all just a lie.

after all the slow moving farm and prison stuff, they seem to be rattling through plotlines and locations very quickly now
