I think you need a better lawyer. Streaming is just as illegal as downloading if a) you are using a proxy to gain access to service that is not operational in your country or b) are streaming from a site that does not own the copyright to the material or the rights of the producer to distribute it.
Nope, you need a better lawyer. Johnnytheboy said:

To save you the bother, I could tell you what happens…
Raj will act a bit gay. Sheldon will act a bit gay.
Howard will act a bit neutered.
Bernadette will shout. A lot.

Stuart will be incredibly depressed.
Amy will say something about how sexually frustrated she is.
Leonard will say something about how surprised he is that Penny married him
I'll be watching.
Have we established whether this thread is for those of us who watch it on E4, or those who stream it or download it via whatever means they have and watch it online/those who live in other territories who have earlier broadcast dates?

Is anyone watching the spin off Young Sheldon.
I really wasn't sure a spin off was a good idea but the casting is perfect and the voiceover by Jim Parsons makes it brilliant. Highly recommended by me.
Watched the first episode, does it get any better or stay pretty much the same ?I really wasn't sure a spin off was a good idea but the casting is perfect and the voiceover by Jim Parsons makes it brilliant. Highly recommended by me.

Otherwise E4 are due to start showing it at some point in "early 2018" based on the promo stings they've been running the past couple of weeks.

Nope, you need to keep up to date. Earlier this year the ECJ ruled that streaming is just as illegal as downloading content - https://andersonstrathern.co.uk/news-insight/is-ko...
You need to read better. This refers to "pre-installed" devices. And nowhere does it state with certainty that streaming is illegal on other devices.

It's previously been considered lawful under the same argument which ruled browser caching didn't breach copyright, however this judgement clarifies the situation and closes that exemption.

the ECJ’s decision published on Wednesday appears to have removed all doubt, noting that a “copyright-protected work obtained by streaming from a website belonging to a third party offering that work without the consent of the copyright holder” does not qualify for exemption from reproduction rights.
In other words, streaming copyrighted content from an illicit source is now just as illegal in the EU as downloading from an illicit source.

I suppose it's reflective of the quality of the show that I hadn't even noticed it hasn't been on recently.
How sad, this was once essential viewing for me.
Yankcoms can be so frustrating with their unlimited runs.
The current series only ended /paused last week ,"due to restart next year " according to the voice over I heard. How sad, this was once essential viewing for me.

As for the Young Sheldon thing ,wasn't expecting much but from posts from those who've seen it already maybe i'll be pleasantly
surprised.

Interesting and thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm off to eat some humble pie.
