BRILLIANT. The Legend bashing is so good and his "defence" in the changing rooms was just epic.

Great entertainment, just hope they iron out a few issues for the next series. The gauntlet is far too easy and the gladiators are far too handicapped in what they are allowed to do. Legend getting stick in the locker room was funny.
Nitro on the wall is just epic. Fury is superb on powerball.

A couple of the Australian gladiators were on the latest gladpod episode saying they’d love to come over to the uk for a special.

I thought the girl who won last night was the much more confident of the 2 girls. Her competitor I thought was a bit mentally fragile looked nervous most of the way through.Legend is a great character plays the pantomime villian to a tee but you can tell he is a really nice guy.I do wonder inside how he actually feels being given the run around by the contenders as he has to be an ultra competitive guy and his performances have not been that great

The loser got hit hard event 1, and had leg issues the rest of the game - that'd hit anyone's confidence!

From what came across as a bad injury she seemed to recover quickly with no sign or lack of mobility. Now the guy from the earlier events who hurt his knee in the gauntlet he showed a lot of grit and bottle to carry on he just got on with it and won his heat. That saying when the going gets tough the tough get going comes to mind.

They seem to have the same lineup for Gauntlet. Viper at the beginning to be absolutely useless, Giant at the end. Then mix it up with the gladiators in between. The same with the women's event; useless dynamite at the beginning. Diamond at the end.

I don't know what Athena really does, she was in one event last night and pretty useless at that.

Dynamite was pretty rubbish on the wall and barely caught the injured contender. I'm not sure why the referee didn't send off the gladiator at the Gauntlet who dumped Chung over the barrier after the whistle. Maybe they were trying to make the eliminator a bit closer but Chung had a huge lead going into it.

Athena is one of those rare examples of a muscular frame world class athlete - but in something that's pretty much useless to Gladiators (powerlifting).

Yes, she can lift crazy amounts for her size - but is clearly a tad limited in ability to apply it through anything other than a bar.

The New Gauntlet is massively stacked against the Gladiators, I can see that changing for the next series if it keeps going. They need to stick to their white line, the channel is too wide and the double rugby training pads seem more like a hinderance than a weapon, they can't pin the contestant, can't push them over the side, can't push them beyond their individual zone-what can they actually do?

Same with the wall, the Gladiators probably need to start a second earlier, climbing the Wall should really be the exception (as should running the Gauntlet) with a big points haul if you make it, or cling on for survival.

They probably need to stop Legend doing The Edge too if they’re trying to make it fair! Can’t work out if he’s actual rubbish or just playing that way for the ‘story’

Dynamite was actually really good at one of the events last week, might have been duel? Otherwise she is pretty rubbish. I’d be st scared of fury!

Those two games need to revert to the original setup...

Gauntlet much narrower. Wall having overhangs - they'll slow people up that the Glad still on the vertical come a lot closer earlier in the game. Oh, and they should probably make sure people have tightened their laces!

Some things I understand them changing due to the arena being much smaller, and H&S. Having 16stone of muscle holding on and jerking on Hang Tough is a recipe for fked shoulders. The Pyramid was utterly ridiculous, Jet got a broken neck on that one to no one's surprise. They don't have room for stuff like Atmospheres or Pendulum.

The circle game is utter crap though. Bin that!
