I don't know why they can't just have Johnnie Walker standing in for everybody.

Tommy Vance would be better to listen to, and he's been dead for 6 years. I'm partial to a bit of Alex Lester if I'm driving early on, but Steve Wright is just massively irritating.

Even worse than Steve is Vanessa fking Feltz in the morning. Just who the hell does she think she is, and that 'Wake up with you' bks is cringing when she talks all over the phone in numpties.

The bloke has been basically doing the same show for the past 20 years. Same jokes, same idiot posse and now that he has moved to Radio 2 and they play older music, the same songs as he did in the 80s.

Simply put he is the laziest man in broadcasting. I can't believe the beeb haven't told to either change the record (see what I did there?) or given him the punt.

I used to think the same about her, until I heard a 'listen again' snippet in which she gave Alastair Campbell a very hard time for being rude - he was well and truly put back in his box. I was impressed and shocked!

Bloody dreading Miranda Heart in for C Evans next week
No. Please god no. I'm dreaming this aren't I. She's the unfunniest woman in the world whose voice and high opinion of herself go right through me.
Well, looks like it is Richard Madeley instead. Better than Miranda Heart but still a nob.

"Hi Rich, good to have you back".

"Hi Rich, love the show".

I was forced back to R1 this morning, I cannot abide the Madeley.

No, just himself. I ended up with Chris Moyles back on this morning.

"Rich here, standing in for the big man".

I have to listen the lazy slob every day, what a ray of sunshine when he is on holidays.
He has done the same show for all his life, posse cr4p,he even cons the listeners into doing half hour for him by sending in ''golden oldies''
Condescending, rude, boring gob ste, you can set your watch by the start of the same thing every day,and when he has a guest,he has his tongue so far up their ar5holes,you want to scream at the radio.
Get rid of the lazy get and get Liza Tarbuck, Chris Tarrant,or better still Roland Rat,anyone can do better, he has earned millions as the laziest get on the radio.
OK BREATH...................

He is just pure st!

The Sunday Morning love songs section is pure tripe and every song is either about breaking up, cheating or disenchanted relationships, so after 5mins diatribe of sickly faux heart warming dedications he follows it with that famous love song, "Your so vain"!!! absolutely fking awful.

Thank God he is generally off-air before I get in the car and I'm normally out on a Sunday am so I can avoid most of his shows with out having to listen to crap commercial or other BBC stations.

I was beginning to think people were being a little harsh on Wrighty, until he chose to interrupt the instrumental of freebird on today's show to say,

'what was that, don't interrupt the music?' followed by 'ok then, I won't' two seconds later.

His goons wind me up something chronic, don't know how they manage to talk as they seem to spend the whole show either knoshing him off or being bummed by him. Hateful load of st.

DJ's talking over songs is one of my pet hates but Wright takes it to a whole new level and has caused my to shout at the the radio on many occasions. The worst is when he starts singing over songs at which point I could happily inflict massive amounts of violence on the deluded idiot. I'm convinced he thinks people would stop listening if they didn't hear his voice at least once every three minutes when in fact he's the thing that makes me turn off.

In case he ever googles himself, Steve Wright DJ you are a fat, useless tt.

I jumped in the van at work today about 2:30pm radio 2 was on and he was playing Freebird, so he had slightly redeemed himself but then when it came to the guitar solo he interrupted it twice by saying, we will play this all the way through without interruption and later on saying I told you we would.

wker.

And another thing he does is comment randomly on words he or someone else has said, for example:

"Pistonheads is a motoring website with an eclectic mix...eclectic, good word I like that, eclectic...An eclectic mix of automotive news and reviews".
