Katie Lyons. Played the girl who weighed her baps in Green wing. Yes, definitely something about her...

He was rotated back to Bastion in the preamble to the Christmas special.

Amusing episode last night but I would guess the script writing team has been altered, will be interesting see how people are developed over the coming episodes.

So, having hit an IED at the very end of the last episode, I wonder where this goes next?

You will have to wait and see, bbc has confirmed a third series, my guess is that not all had signed contracts.

I'd guess they'll kill or injure off a couple of the characters.
Captain Nick will survive as he is basically the lead, but will have ptsd and unable to "connect" with the padre

Bird probably will survive, can't see BBC killing a woman and best protagonist between all the other characters.

"Rocket" probably will survive (best character personally) as he's the "innocent" character

"Tower block" probably will survive as hes the newest, although crap, character.

It'll be either or both
Mack, because his death would evolve "rocket" and character could be easily replaced by another cocky motormouth, probably scouse or Irish.

Simon, because then the rest of the team "realise only when gone what he brought to the team" when he is replaced by a real dick or incompetent corporal.

As an operational analyst I'd be disappointed in their writers and advisors if anyone got killed or seriously injured in that. biggrin

Never heard of this before...on tonight, I thought it was a completely new show, not seen any adverts for it!

Good spot, I wouldn't have expected it on BBC1. It's the last serries mind but I guess the beeb are gearing up for the new serries in Feb.

New Padre ?
Not a new Padre, but unclear if the Padre is still on site ?

"The third season of Bluestone 42 is set to air on BBC Three later this year and sees the team back on patrol in hostile territory with Captain Nick Medhurst still agonising over the padre, Bird still agonising over Nick and the team braced to continue fighting bureaucracy, the Taliban and each other equipped with their customary brand of gallows humour.

Laura Aikman will play Ellen Best, a high-threat bomb disposal expert who couldn’t be less like the rest of them if she tried"

Only just remembered to set the video for this last night, because one of the actors was on R1 in the afternoon.

Just catching up on this, midway through Season 2 - enjoying it. They've got the banter side of things well sorted and I like how it does often turn realistically operational for a few minutes just to give a reminder of what they're actually doing and the danger involved.

Kelly Adams on imdb doesn't show any series 3 episodes, mind they only show episodes one and two so far.
