Just watched all of season 1 and the first episode of season 2 on the strength of a trailer.

Glad I did. Extremely funny and moving. Really well done. clap Officially a fan.

I enjoyed this also (though I felt S2 and S3 never matched the proper LOL hilarity of S1).

Season 4 just wrapped up broadcasting, and I think its the last one planned.

Caught my first viewing of this this week.
Also saw Phoebe Waller- Bridge's interview on Andrew Marrs show today.
Appears she also wrote the superb Killing Eve.
Can't beat an intelligent sexy woman, imo.

This was something I just knew I would not want to watch.

That is until it came on after the news last week and what I saw looked very witty - well written and acted.

So now I have got to start from the beginning to understand how the relationships got to this point.

Exactly where we are, as of Monday evening at 10.35pm! Watched first two of S1 last night.

Missed series one but just finished the third episode of series two. Really enjoying it, great bar scene with Scott-Thomas and with vicar at the end. Original and funny and the breaking 4th wall works a treat.

I think its rare the 4th wall thing works (apart from when Ferris does it) Really enjoy this though.

I have no idea how I missed this the first time round but someone mentioned it on Twitter and I started at the beginning a few days ago.

It's absolutely brilliant, I'm all caught up and I'm gutted there's only one episode left!

You might be interested to know, that Phoebe Waller-Bridge, also wrote Killing Eve, which is also worth a watch!

yes

This is my favourite TV series at the mo. Such clever writing and genuine emotion to it.

Watched S1, which was excellent, and now watching S2, but, two episodes in, I can't shake the feeling that it's not as good as the first...

I'm not a binge watcher by nature, so maybe my interest is waning a bit after watching 8 episodes in a few days...

Something happens in series 2 which is spectacularly unexpected, I don't think it's happened in episode 2 so it'll improve.

Last episode tonight. Last episode ever, that is....

Seems to be on Iplayer already which is odd as it's not supposed to be aired until 10.35 tonight.

Lookng forward to watching it but not looking forward to it being the end!

Same here! I read an interview with the actress who plays the sister, she said she has implored PWB to write another series but she won't. But apparently the last episode is a cracker.

Just watched it. Perfect ending, there’s sadness and laughter and it’s just the right tone.

It’s open enough for the possibility of another series but closed enough you won’t feel like it’s unfinished.

One of the best things I’ve watched recently throughout both series’.

Bitersweet ending - shame there won't be anymore.

Someone on the DS forums suggested the following which seems to fit:

So all this time she was talking to her mother and she finally says 'goodbye' at the end of the episode by telling 'her' not to follow.
