Yes and I know there is some pretty unsavoury stuff on there that I wouldn't want my kids to see and parents should know about it, but from google to child porn in 5 seconds? give me a break.

sod this quoting lark lol

It's not anti-porn. It's actually trying to get across that very young children can watch stuff online that they really shouldn't be!
Don't let 'em then. Take some responsibility...

There must be a huge market for a small mini-notebook type thing, aimed purely at under 16's that is hard wired to be unable to access any kind of porn, ever....maybe??

Probably a million reasons why this wouldn't work but I bet you the non-technical parents of our population would snap them up.

Surely it's easy to get to child porn from google. Simply type Child Porn??

Only saw a few seconds of the show but I was a bit surprised that kids have such stuff on their mobile phones. E4+1 for me, Friends...

No it's not. And no, I haven't tried in vane smile

I'm not really sure how you would go about getting access to that stuff, and I'd like to keep it that way.

A pornographic programme pretending to be horrified about porn... typical Ch4/Ch5 ratings-grabbing nonsense. And let's face it, when the advance 'warning' about nudity comes up, do we shrink in horror and turn over - or edge closer? Precisely.

I thought it was pretty well put together really. It can only be a good thing letting teenagers know that what they see on the internet is not the real world and they have no need to feel inadequate or different in any way if they feel they don't measure up to what is presented as normal.

Even comments on here suggest that a few of you don't recognise normality when you see it.

I agree about the suspicious ease with which she fell upon child pornography, it was clearly staged which is a shame. In reality I'm sure you have to try very hard to find it. I also believe the parents were shown more than your typical erotica judging by their reactions. It must have involved something untypical like scat for example which the majority of people would almost certainly avoid and not make a habit of viewing.

dont let them? so you're not going to let them on a pc ever, not going to let them have a mobile/psp/dvdplayer etc, not them them nr friends that have them or visit net cafes etc etc?

didnt think the prog was anti porn and was simply showing how much porn is avaiable to kids these days and people are dangerously naive if they think the kids cant access child porn in 2 clicks on google. google etc should be more accountable and adults should be better informed

I'm fairly sure that if they took all the porn off the Internet, there'd only be 1 website left, and it would be called Bring Back The Porn.

Why should Google be held accountable, its a search engine, you search something it will find it.

So you'd let your 'very young child' go to a net cafe?

very young children shouldn't be allowed on the internet unsupervised if at all.
