I'm assuming Gettrick blackmailed them all once they were back in the UK.

Stone shot a man in cold blood & torched a house that killed the daughter, the other guy was complicit in it all.

They both appeared to have decent military careers too that they wouldn't want to lose.
And it seems Stone/Reed were sending money to the younger brother to cover it up.

I think the DNA tests with Sam, Fake Alice and the girl in the shed are fabricated as the news of these matches were delivered by the army PR guy.
Why do two of the girls look so similar?
Simply as nonce boy likes a certain look of little girl to do his peadophila on OR is there more to it?

I think Sophie might now kill him and save them all, she looks very uncomfortable with him. She couldn't say anything when she turned up as Alice because he may have done something to her daughter. I could be completely wrong.

Either way I want to see PR guy get well and truly fked up!

I must say that although this is still incredibly gripping, it seems to be more 'character driven' both in concept and detail than I thought. It seemed to be heading down the Paedophile ring story but now I'm hit so sure. One absolute wrong'un and several who define the saying:

"For evil to succeed, good men need do nothing" - or similar?

Gripping smile

The thing is to live off grid al- how do you do that really?
The cabin who owns it?
Cash he has to buy produce and fluids and sanitary stuff and feminine hygiene/tampons etc clothing too. Unless he managed to get a job locally paying him cash in hand

schoolboy error in the Polizei autos dept, and Gettrick's car in that monkey-buying scene:

German cars don't have 2 stickers on the front plate anymore, haven't done for years, maybe about 2006?, just one with whatever Bundesland they are from

2 on the back only

I'm counting the hours down, it's a long time since anything on TV gripped me like this. The last time was when Ernest Bishop was shot in a wages snatch in Corrie.

I've avoided this thread for a few weeks, as I've been saving up episodes to watch, I find it easier to follow when I 'binge' watch. Did the last three in a row last night....wow!

Still think dementia man is a fake. Morrissey has to be involved in no good somewhere. PR driller killer man, didn't see that coming!

Really enjoyed the series and a good finale.

Actually felt a bit sorry for Sam!
