"Leon the professional"
First time I've seen it
Excellent film - it seemed to pass in no time.
the young girl playing the his apprentice was amazing.
I think it depends on the market but in the UK it´s just called "Leon".First time I've seen it

Cracking movie - the young girl is Natalie Portman - probably her best role...

The Visit
Not a fan of the hand held/lost footage style of scary film really...but I have liked M. Knight Shalayamananan's stuff on the whole, (Unbreakable being in my top 5) and the trailer set this up quite well.
2 kids go stay with grandparents for a week.... it doesn't go well.
Apart from another decent MKS 'reveal' this was dull as fk....
Quite well acted I guess...just not a lot going on... 4.6/10

I switched off the second time. About 10/15 minutes in?
0/10.

Hell or High Water - no cliche untouched - cowboys, indians, bank robbers, damsels
but the pacing, acting, music and cinematography are spot on - simple but brilliant, and funny 9/10
Is this out yet? Quite fancy seeing this but the pacing, acting, music and cinematography are spot on - simple but brilliant, and funny 9/10

Maybe because it was so hyped.
I didn't like any of the characters apart from Rorschach.
The whole film bummed me out not helped by the appalling Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.
I didn't like the book or the artwork.
Not my thing I guess.

The film actually turned me onto the Cohen version of Hallelujah, love it now.
The Witch - watched it last night, and was one of those films that I honestly didn't know if I liked or not when it ended. Very well made and good looking, but unsure if I enjoyed it. Having thought about it a bit more, I think it was excellent. It's not a traditional horror film but a great character study of an isolated Puritan family who begin to turn on eachother. Good ending as well, which for me is a lot more open than it first appears
