I'm sure it has been mentioned already but all those ghastly self-consciously middle class people in the new Birds Eye adverts.

Go away, the lot of you.

The stupid pounds to pocket payday loan company advert with all the ad execs around a table discussing utterly ste ideas, then a camp looking chap (wearing a cravat) rejects all these utterly ste ideas whilst the voiceover says something along the lines of "if pounds to pocket wrote adverts, then they'd be as simple as our loans"

YOU DID WRITE THE fkING ADVERT, AND YOU STILL MANAGED TO CRAM IN ALL THE ANNOYING st THAT YOU WERE TRYING TO "IRONICALLY" TAKE THE PISS OUT OF YOU INSUFFERABLE S.

I don't normally get wound up by adverts, but this one has got to me for some reason.

Text GROVELING to 123456.

I am sure I have mentioned it before BUT songs from the 80s sung half heartedly really annoy me like hell.

Voices over dubbed. With all that money why not re-shoot it in English?

Talking of this...

Adverts for cars that are LHD.

I thought the same, the background to the song is quite interesting. John F Kennedy realised Americans were heading for obesity nirvana. biggrin

What about the latest Auris ad where the bloke is stuck in a traffic jam in India and then starts singing along to 'Horse with no name' in a really weird voice - makes my teeth itch.
thank god it's just not me. i cannot bear to look at his smug face, he looks really weird, i think his mouth is too big or his chin sticks out loads. either way, the person who conceived the advert and the person who cast him need new jobs.

If you watch Sky Sports News you'll have been bombarded with the "This programme, is sponsored by Sure" (the deodorant people) and the sight of that fking wky keepy uppy bloke. EVERY SINGLE Advert break. Talk about a commercial losing it's appeal and hurting the company!

How about the hotel chain one? It might be Travelodge. The voice-over says something like ' leave the children, take the children' and then over a couple hugging 'make more children'!!

Everytime it makes me yuck Encouraging voracious soiling of Travelodge mattresses that other people have to sleep on later

Radio Ad rather than TV but it is up there with the worst of them.

'1 Nil to Amigo Loan's' - im sure it is at 49.9% APR* (*as long as you are not bankrupt and some mug is willing to carry the risk), more like 1 nil to Amigo AND your going to get metaphorically bu****ed with the goal post!.

Not much can be worse than a clumsy shoehorning of a sport event combined with a comtemptous loan company.

I've often wondered at that. But then, it's like the pictures of the burgers at McDs or BK and the contrast between the real thing.

He is the star of a TV programme which is widely, and critically regarded to be one of the best of all time and which has won 10 Emmy awards, 2 golden globes and holds a Guiness world record for the most highly rated TV show in history.

I used to work for the company that kinda made this rule come about.

Essentially, they used cut scenes in the advert, so there were a lot of complaints when people bought the game and then it looked crap.
So Clearcast advised that you have to say when it is not in game, in game and preferably what console.

It's so people don't expect super mega lifelike graphics for an iphone game.

While I appreciate that the nerdy bloke on the MAOAM sweets lead-ins to the Big Bang Theory is meant to be annoying, I fear he has succeeded.

Also, the annoying voice of the girl on the Trivago adverts. Note the last letter is an 'o', pronounced 'o'.

Or as she would put it, "Hotels? Trivagey."
