first house i've really liked on GD for ages! Genuinely different, but not just for the sake of it. The woodwork is lovely

So far: loved the exterior view on the approach, love the black hallway, but the oak wall is a bit meh for me, it's very 60s/70s and not in a good way.

Shocking - another Grand Designs house with all hard surfaces, no storage and no curtains. Overlooked by a main road, the neighbours and the river traffic. With the road side bit looking like some sort of designer public toilet. That'll be fun to live in.

Sure it's not classically beautiful, but it fits in with it's surroundings quite well i think (on a obviously "industrial" looking ex Wharf)

Agreed, a really clever design.

I hope he payed a small fortune for that dining table.

I really want to - and do - like the steel, but I think the scale is just a tad too small for it to sit easily on the build.
