I think that's the point of breakfast radio - you don't really listen to it, just hear it. Unfortunately I can hear her voice far too much.

He sold his interest in that, as the site says 'The Columbus is now owned by the London & Regional group, the owner of such prestigious establishments as the Hilton Park Lane in London and the Fairmont Hotel in Monaco'. According to the ever reliable Wikipedia he still owns a number of other hotels.

So do we know for sure who is actually part of the new Top Gear, aside from Evans? i.e. has anything official been announced?

My wife heard Evans talking about the show on his Radio 2 show yesterday and seemed to think it was going to be on air in March.

People do, I don't see how anyone can be following F1 around the globe and also commit to doing TG, not just testing but roadtrips etc. Would you expect TG to fit in around his F1 commitments? Or the way round?

AFAIK this series' filming is being done, or has been completed. That just leaves "live" filming in the week prior to airing, assuming they have a similar format to previously.

It's not hard to imagine that if they film as much as poss over the winter period, they can work a schedule that fits.

Depends what format the new show takes. Nobody knows yet do they?

In any event about half the F1 calendars within a few hours fly and there's only a couple of races that'd present real difficulties getting back for say a midweek filming. I'm sure it could work if they wanted it to.
