I should think one of the 'joys' of cooking in such a kitchen is having to work under extreme pressure, which he made sure they did. He seemed happy enough with their performance at the end, came over as harsh but ultimately fair.

Not sure 'being nice 'is part of a chefs job description. biggrin

He seemed fine to me,
I thought a hard taskmaster but good with it. if that makes sense.

Looks like Darren might be going.

Am I the only one that finds the professional kitchen challenge a little pointless. I watch the first 5 minutes - to see where the restaurant is and if I might consider booking it - and then fast forward to the end cook offs. I really don't see the point of it - even if someone were to have a disaster in the Pro kitchen a masterful display in front of the judges would see then through. Let's face it - a lot of the ingredients are prepared, it's just a test of plating up. Anyone could do it!?

And it was a little unfair on Tuesday's contestants as that was 1 on 1 as opposed to 2 out of 3. And no way they would of had Nick vs Mark as the Tuesday heat. The show Is rigged!!

On the whole I don't like those segments either. I tend to skip them. Same often goes for challenges such as 'outside catering for someone'. I only really want to see the MC kitchen stuff.

Interesting to compare the difference between Lisa and Toms attitude towards the contestants.
