Who to play the next Bond, James bond?

Well it the was the other one that got Best Actress at the BAFTAs rather than the one that played Eve though both were nominated and Best Supporting Actress went to one of the other roles in it. Not that it matters to you since you don't think JB should be "a women" ...
I doubt most think JB should be a "woman" as it is a male character. If someone wants to come up with an original idea for a movie about a female spy I will watch it, if it is any good that is. All of the "woke" decisions to turn male characters female have been disasters so far. JagLover said:

The producers have already ruled it out, for exactly the reason you identify. A female counterpart would be a different character, and if EON were so inclined to come up with one as the lead she wouldn't be 'Jane Bond'.Still won't stop the tabloid speculation though. 007 seems to generate more fake news than Donald Trump.

I always thought Clive Owen would make a good Bond.
Me too, and he was lined up to take over before one of the many behind-the-scenes studio disputes got in the way, but I think that ship sailed long ago.Would be nice if they gave him a second bit at it like they did with Pierce Brosnan, but I think it is unlikely considering the way the character has gone since.

I don't think here will be a woman James Bond but I think its important to put forward women actors so as I wont be labelled a manist.
I don't mind being labelled a pratt but a manist would be worse than being called a wascist

Go the whole way then and propose dear Diane! The plot could centre around her investigating her high-profile politician ex-boyfriend's connections to terror organisations, and her answer to what her code number is would change every time someone asked her it.
I had the next James Bond chat with a mate a few days ago, granted we have it on a semi regular basis and I've come up with a less obvious choice.
Luke Evans, British bad guy fella in last couple of Fast and the Furious films, Welsh, relatively unknown outside of the people who watch that franchise and he's only a fairly minor character in it anyway, i reckon he could be a decent none well known option.
Or failing that just give Damien Lewis the gig.

I'd seriously consider Philip Winchester (who played Stonebridge in Strike Back).
Ooh. I like him. Is he bond though? Quite similar to Craig in some respects. Not dripping with charisma but also not smarmy either. Physically he's in great shape. Just one teeny tiny problem. He's fkING AMERICAN. That's sacrilege. Although Lazenby was Australian I guess.
Not a bad shout though.
