Get the doctor going all 21st century and having wheelchair access in the TARDIS! laugh
And then doesn't take the Unit girl in the wheelchair for a ride. If they hadn't done the ramp bit no one would ever mention the lack of wheelchair access.

In fact wasn't the lack of wheelchair access deliberate to stop Daleks entering the Tardis biggrin

So by being "fully inclusive" they've opened the new doctor up to being invaded by the daleks, poor bugger, first day in the job, and his new employer isn't as fully inclusive as he thought! laugh

Russell has shot himself in the foot with the wheelchair ramp / Dalek conundrum.
So many things to think about when you go all inclusive.

They were actually first seen flying in Sylvester McCoy's 4 part episode "Remembrance of the Daleks" in 1988.

Longer
First negotiated stairs back in 1988.

But this is of minor issue compared to the almighty fall out of the local Doctor Who appreciation society I am life chairman of.
I had hoped, feverishly hoped, that these 3 specials would unite the society after all the unpleasantness of the Jody Whittaker era,
The signs were good with constructive comments on our forum about the first two.
There was no unpleasantness when the Rose character was introduced.
But then last night .............................

One of our more respected posters is Ms Zimmermann a lady much admired. She however has gone pretty ballistic accusing the BBC, Russell T Davies, myself and others of disrespect to German people.
She feels that the Toymaker is an unpleasant character that plays on peoples prejudices against germans.

I hadn't realised there was such encyclopaedic who knowledge on here.

Hopefully I can get an answer to a question I've had for ages.

I remember an episode from my childhood so very fuzzy memory.

It was davidson era I think... Was set in the jungle and had a really cool tracked robotic suit.

Any ideas what it was? I'd like to watch it again or at least see a pic of the suit / robot.

Although they've been flying longer than that. I remember the Christmas Dalek albums of the 70's and they were hovering about in, well, "hoverbouts" even back then.

I must have missed the bit about why the "new" Doctor had no trousers. Will he always have no trousers?
When they split they had to share the clothes so Tennant got the trousers and new doc got the pants.
Ah! Obvious. Cheers. I clearly don't pay attention.

Tennant's Doctor (the 10th) has kind of been split before. He became 10.5 back in the Rose era (I think when Rose returned during the Dalek/Cybermen stuff). 10.5 went off to live with Rose in another universe, but I think he was mortal and would age.

As far as I can remember anyway.

Correct. Rose got one. Donna got one. Poor old Martha.

I’d actually forgotten how many different things ‘he’d’ been through since the last time he was Tennant until that little summary

I am neither screaming nor shouting, thank you. But I think people should have the guts to say what they really mean, rather than hiding behind the word 'woke' all the time. If you're racist, transphobic or whatever else it may be, then have the spine to show your true colours.

Just sayin'.
