Robbie Williams always fancied himself for it, he's tattoed himself out of it now though.

I'd like it to be Idris Elba or of course there's always the option of Justin Bieber.

Damn it man! Is it bad enough we are not listening to him, you suggest we could be not watching him too!?

Calm down men, it could be a useful Britishising process in advance of us crowning him as our combined Prime Minister, King, Patron Saint and eternal ruler, that's all I'm saying.

That will never happen. One direction for the win!

What, the fat gurning-faced midget? James Bond, no, but he's a shoe-in for the Norman Wisdom biopic.

He's pretty much the same as old walnut face playing him now.

Edit: Taller actually.

Without wishing to sound a tad ghey, I have met Robbie Williams and he is certainly no midget, 6ft at a guess. As for fat, I know he's carried a bit of excess at times, but he can shed it when he wants to. Perhaps you should post a pic of yourself, so we can see what kind of position you are in to pass judgement on others who aren't here to defend themselves.

He is about 6ft, he's got short legs though.

I don't like the horrible stty little Robbie Williams, end of. But hey, that's only my opinion, freely expressed. If that upsets you, then...

Sacha Baron Cohen, can imagine him killing someone and saying "wawaweewa, king in the castle"

in all seriousness I do like Daniel Craig and could see Tom Hardy filling the role well. Clive Owen is dreadful imho

If going overseas, I'd rather have Jon Hamm TBH. Urban just doesn't look right (whatever the rights & wrongs of that are) and Hamm has already done a substantial addition in the 60s/early 70s Bond style smile.

Not convinced by Tom Hardy either (although that's not a comment on either's acting ability, just don't see them as JB). However, I suppose it depends on what those wielding the power see or want to see Bond as - more/more+ of Craig's interpretation, or something different again?

I guess we all have a different view.

I wish it is Idris Elba, but reckon he may be too old for the part when DC finishes playing Bond. I reckon Tom Hardy will get the part, has to be a British actor for me.

Tom Hardy
Benedict Cumberbatch
Rupert Penry-Jones
Damian Lewis

Any of the above would suit me, although by the time DC quits the last two would probably be too old

Hardy - too boyish
Cumberbatch - too fey
Penry-Jones - too wooden
Lewis - too ginger

Damien lewis? With his tiny mouth? he is weird, and not at all 'Bondish'. Hardy in 5-7 years may well suit the part.
