I've actually got one of those watering cans, someone bought it for me for Christmas the one before last. Never used it, more of a novelty.
Looked on their website (www.colapz.com), they have (or will have) 5 products which all boil down to basically the same thing.
How on earth they have managed to owe some other dude quite so much money for basically one idea, I have no clue. Mind boggling.

He didn't get the investment. No official word why, but one supplier claims that he ordered from them then didn't pay. Claims he wasn't the only supplier treated in that way too. Jasandjules said:
I am no doubt being thick but I am neither a plumber nor sailor. So how the f**k will that little thing inflate in a pipe to stop water coming in? Because the pipe doesn't have a handy hole in the bottom for it to expand out and fill the gap sealing the pipe! What am I missing?
I didn't really get it either but know nothing about sea cocks but I guess the mushroom bit on the end doesn't expand but sits flush against the outlet bit thingy making it seal and kept there by the water pressure. Are these holes in the hull all below sea/river level then? and how do you stem the flow of water rushing in while taking off the pipework to poke the red thing down it? I think some kind of small water tank demonstration would have made it easier to understand but it seems most of the dragons either got it (with one exception) or most likely didn't care.DSLiverpool said:
It pushes through like an umbrella and water pressure keeps it tight
Yes but how does it expand? If the pipe was cut it can then expand and fill the gap (around the edge of the pipe) BUT inside a normal tube there is nowhere for it to expand into nor any way for it to seal?Jasandjules said:

The flange to the right of the cock will be the hull. Disconnect the pipework from the cock, open the cock and push the 'new invention' through the cock - water pressure will then seal against the hull and the cock can then be removed for replacement.

So Kelly, Piers and Duncan leave at the end of the series and Michelle Mone is one of the replacements. Wonder who else we'll see.
Shame to see Duncan leave, but the other pair aren't really interesting enough to make good telly. DSLiverpool said:

As one of the dragons themselves said "its like you have read the manual on tech startups" Was akin to a MBA grad talking business bull i.e. he fitted the profile
Didn't he say that he raised £200k only 2 months ago- burning through a lot of cash. But OH said that at her work many of the girls were addicted to the Graze boxes. So never know may tick along.
Also was it me, of was the Piers going halves with Peter a bit arkward? looked like Peter only said yes as to not cause negative headlines as Piers doesn't seem too popular.

hat's the bit I didn't get - what's stopping water pissing in while you're pushing your umbrella down the hole? And then what stops it pissing through again once you've finished and pull the umbrella back through?
Nothing. But that's what the valve is there for in the first place, and the amount will be minimal.hornetrider said:

I would have asked if they had experimented with larger/stronger versions, and why they had not conducted any sea trials yet? But it was the only thing on last night's show that would have got my money (if I had any)!
