I only skipped sections as I'd already seen the full Top Gear Ashes episode - if you haven't seen it, look it up on youtube/torrents, the safari park section was excellent.
I saw the full version on YouTube a while ago, can't find it now, only several different parts.

Took longer than I thought, perhaps that's because he's Mexican and therefore just lazy.

They could have just re-dubbed the German Vs UK thing as the Ashes, it was too much alike for me. It would have been better if at the end of the Stig race he took his helmet off to reveal that it was James under the helmet all the time, a little of the unexpected would be refreshing. Still a jolly show over all.
Ah but that might contravene all the new BBC lying guidlines bollost.

That's the chap, sorry I missed out a few pages and didn't check before I posted. Bloody talented for a 19-year-old if it is indeed him
Am I the only one missing the elephant in the room here?

Just reading the related stories on that, about how he described the Ferrari as a "Speciale Needs", and the lorry driver / murder thing. Have we really all lost our sense of fun versus reality completely.

The program has a reputation for being irreverent as does many a comedy program. What do the French and German Ambassadors make of the Pub Landlord character by Al Murray? Are we to assume that all cockney married blokes lie constantly and unnecessarily to their wives if we watch it on Eastenders? Or that all hoteliers are mad, customer hostile, henpecked beanpoles if we watch Fawlty Towers.

We really need to take a look at ourselves and how we deal with these stupid complaints. 500 million viewers versus 2 complaints - I say it was about time we told them to eff off and get a sense of humour.

Anyone else think it would have been funnier if at the end of the ashes rally event, the TGuk driver had taken off his helmet and it actually was James behind the wheel?

I wonder if the Mexican ambassador has ever seen Family Guy. The Hispanic maid Consuela has the pcensored taken out of her all the time. "No. Mr. Jeremy, he no home."

Just goes to show how quick he was if he had time to clean it as well.

They probably don't have enough cameras to film the whole lap in one go so use 3-4 laps with cameras in different places perhaps.

Jonathan Ross is the star in a reasonably priced car this week. Excellent.

I knew that would cheer everyone up.

And I wonder how accurate the timings really are.It would be more fun if they had an off road section in it.A bit of old fashioned Rally Cross.

The new model from Mexico's sports car manufacturer is called the Mañana, and that's when it will reach 60MPH! smile

No I think it's called a Mastretta, I like the concept, but they don't exactly have pedigree.

His only been on once hasn't he? got lost on his lap. I realise for some reason he is unpopular on pistonheads, but he seems a really nice bloke to me confused
