30 years ago Morecambe & Wise attracted almost three times the viewing figures that Strictly does.
30 years ago there were 4 TV channels (or less?), internet was for geeks on dialup (the web was 9 years from invention), no iPlayer no Netflix, if you wanted to watch a film you were down to Blockbusters. Different world and no comparison.

Think it's Kellie's now, however 40 for her first dance was a joke, for me Georgia's was so much better. Felt a bit sorry for Jay with the show dance as there was nothing he could do about that, it's the pro's routines so I think it a little unfair to mark the celebs down on stuff out of their control.

Thought Craig bang on with his comments about Katie after her show dance even though I enjoyed it, but I think sadly for her it's all about Anton who's being a bit of a knob in the show, especially as he putting in lifts and throws that he doesn't have the strength to carry out properly.

Lots of nerves though and based on tonight's performances so far I'd put them in order as Georgia, Kellie, Jay and finally Katie.

Really time delayed now and have just watched Kellie and Kevin's dance.

That was insane but so much fun. I love Kevin's choreographery and they put so much fun into their dances.

(Still time delayed)

That felt like a desperate Swan Song by Anton.

I think he'll make a great judge. Like Martin Brundle, DC, Johnny Herbert, Damon Hill, etc., have all made great pundits.

Looks suspiciously like the BBC is trying to fix it for Kellie to win. There is absolute nil connection emotionally between her and Kevin. Georgia and Jay's dances have SO much emotion in them.

Also, Anton started gobbing off to Craig and I have huge respect for Craig's reply. Totally fair comments by Craig.

Calling 'fix' is quite frankly tinfoil hat tttery. The BBC wouldn't expose themselves to the risk these days. Blame the public, blame personal bias on judges (eg. throwing in bones for Len). But rigged? Come on. Occam's Razor.

Agree, she shouldn't even be in the final

I said TRYING to fix. Looks at the ridiculous marking and fawning over Kellie. Trying to convince the gullible.

Katie totally right choice for no more than 4th and her response was totally spot on. Totally fair play to her and much respect.

Did she deserve to be there? I think so.

Sure. She's got the only TWO 40's of the series but she really shouldn't be there....

Jays show dance was rubbish and really shows the lack of emotion/entertainment in his dancing.

I'll make no bones.. I want to see Jay win it. I like him and I think he merits it.

But I now think Kellie will.

Jay is the only remaining contestant that is a leading partner, got to be a lot more difficult leading, than like the other contestants---being led. The judges scores should reflect on that, so Jay for me.

Agreed.

Is Jay the only one not to have been in the dance off?

Did she? Or did she realise that if you try to top perfection you will look like a failure?

Clarification: I meant the best you could ever do it. I don't mean it was perfect.
