Isn't the jazz something that has been embedded into the opening credits since forever? So pretty much a reference to that as much as anything else?
Yep, but as said I skip through them too. Doesn’t matter whether jazz is a metaphor for being bi-polar. All I can say is jazz is absolute st, so being bi-polar must be too wink

An OK end to the season but not great, i feel if Saul and Carrie had both been "in on it" and Anna hadn't died then i could have possibly forgiven the leap that a defector could run a cell without detection.

Much better than House of Cards at least.

Freeform jazz like that i just don't get. However jazz is so broad. Im really liking gogo penguin, which is still classified as jazz but it's also kinda like instrumental drum and bass, completely different.

In any case, the homeland jazz whilst crap didn't offend me, it kinda made sense with Carrie's bipolar etc. I don't get yevgenny's excuse for liking it tho!

Quite simple: Yevgeny was smiling because he'd just discovered an unbearable form of torture which he was sure his superiors in the intelligence services could use if say, waterboarding didn't succeed.

Did anyone with a half-decent audio system notice the extremely low-frequency basslines used in the 'suspense music' in the last couple of episodes? My entire room was pressurised, and just adds to the excellent tension and production levels of the final season. I will miss it frown

My mate got into homeland after I talked about it, he’s binged series 1-7 but 8 doesn’t seem available anywhere, anyone got any suggestions? How long before it hits Netflix from its release usually?

Just finished watching Homeland. Absolutely loved it. Not sure what to watch next, as I don’t think anything will be as good!

Bit frustrating that they’re so far behind tbh
