Homeland - see "Lost". Great concept, but incredibly annoying after S1.
Season 5 was pretty good I thought. I haven't watched seasons 2 - 4.

Not read the whole of this thread, so don't know if they've been mentioned, but; Bread and 2 Point 4 Children.

Battlestar Galactica- the remake. It started strongly but then wandered into weird mysticism (is Starbuck dead? What does the song mean? Who are the Final Five?) and the less said about the end the better...

BGT / X factor time to kill these
Dr Who,the reboot was good but it's all gone geeky now it's not a family show anymore
Breaking bad / sons of anarchy both good series but 7 seasons ? I'm never going to watch that lot and therefore don't feel I will do it justice by watching only 2 or 3 series
3 seasons max, some comedies / panel shows will work longer but really anything over 4 years needs to be pensioned off.

There must be enough creative writers out there to produce much more but the networks won't take the gamble.
You REALLY need to change your attitude to this one. It really kicks in at Series 3 when Walt (Bryan Cranston) becomes the director of the remaining 3-4 series. It is the best thing I've ever watched! Subjective I know but watch it from Series 3 if you've watched the first 2.

Nancy Marchand (Livia Soprano)died during filming of that season, hence they had to end her scenes very quickly frown
Indeed, they did one episode with her CGI'd in though!

I haven't seen Breaking Bad seasons 6 and 7. They must must have been odd since Walt died at the end of Season 5. :-)

Yup. For years Moore kept claiming they had the plot all laid out but later admitted he was telling porkies after season 3. The mystical God/angels nonsense spoiled it later on as well. And, yes, the Starbuck explanation was badly handled. I loved the idea behind the ending, just not the way they carried it out.
