Truth In 24, Le Mans film free on iTunes....

As in the title really, I've been after this for months & low & behold its a freebie at the moment on iTunes.

Truly is one of the best motorsport films ever made, surrounding audi's troubled 2011 attempt to win the French classic.

There's a Truth In 24 on Sky Sports this week. I wonder if it's the same thing.

It's the cut down (1 hour)'version of Truth in 24 part 2. The full version is on iTunes. The original is on Youtube and is also worth a watch.

Truth in 24 is the original that was only available in the USA.

Truth in 24 II is the new one about the 2011 race.

Both are available on iTunes and they are both free!

The first one is only on the US iTunes store.

Just finished watching this. Absolutely amazing!

Weirdly, I think Jason Stathams narration worked well!

I tried a few weeks ago but it wants US credit card details. It's been suggested on PH that there is a way around this but i couldn't figure it out, so i just used a Youtube download plug-in for Firefox.

Got to say sorry guys, I was sure both were on iTunes but it appears I was wrong, well not wrong but......

Couple of years ago I setup a US iTunes account (using a dummy US address) and downloaded the first one.

So I now go to d/l the new one and, having a different computer than when I d/l the first one, I installed iTunes again and it remembered me

But Apple needed to updated my details so I had to close that (US) account and open a real one!

So if you have a US account you can get both films but if you have a UK account you can't.

Sorry for any confusion caused.

BTW both films are well worth watching, so get them any way you can!

This is a great watch.

Made better with the fact that a good friend is in it as lead engineer on car 3.
