Not on BBC2 Scotland but I might give it a watch on one of the other BBC2s.

Sky guide says its looking at dangers of poorly maintained cars at high speeds - we'll see :-/

Only as safe as the compete bunch of mongoid hoards behind the wheel of said cars. So that'll be not very then.

But don't worry, they will completely ignore the simple need for better driver training, education and an increase in the number of traffic police, and just blame things like "not enough signs", "driving too fast", "dangerous cars" and a million other reasons that in reality have nothing to do with "road safety"...............

What actually are the statistics for crashes caused DIRECTLY by mechanical failure? i'm going to suggest <1%. I'm also going to suggest that "cars being driven inappropriately and with poor observation and attention" causing the remaining 99% of crashes. So, yup, clealy we need to get that massive 1% fixed first before worrying about the other bit...............

Pissed off with it already, road deaths have only risen a small amount, possibly not enough to be a consistent figure yet. What they don't say is that deaths have dropped by half over the last decade.
