Anybody see this last night? Whilst politicians debated the EU referendum on BBC1, BBC2 chose to run with a program that pretty much sums up something quintessentially British

A bunch of bonkers Wallace and Gromit type inventors making stuff just for the sake of it - and some coverage of a jet powered shopping trolley, a jet powered hearse with the moniker "Dead quick" and a trebuchet

On a personal level would probably have preferred them making it a bit longer and showing a bit more of the engineering but found it an enjoyable hour of TV

Yep, loved it, great back street engineering.
Likewise let's see more action and less chatting.
Why do they spoil such follies with a competition element though, great British bake, antique, sewing off.....
