This is really growing on me.
Bit like CYE meets Entourage, where all the 'chicks' are hot but no-one gets lucky, and the lead has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Might be its downfall though as Merchant has made his character so unlikeable that I'm not sure how the audience can root for him at all. I'm sticking with it for now - its a cringe-fest.

It’s not too bad and it’s watchable, and this week’s episode (S1E3) was the best yet. I like Merchant’s colleague (the one with fuzzy hair).
I’m also in the camp of finding Merchant’s character a bit of a moron and it’s hard to root for him. (I understand that IS the point)
It’s no Curb, US Office or VEEP though.

You all should try and catch this, the latest episode 'Long Beach' is the best yet.
Merchant mixing it with the Long beach crew was cracking me up. The other characters are being fleshed out as well, almost got a Seinfeld feel to it.
Finished off with a bit of Rafferty this week
I did love the Long Beach nightclub scene and ensuing story, class stuff from Merchant! Merchant mixing it with the Long beach crew was cracking me up. The other characters are being fleshed out as well, almost got a Seinfeld feel to it.
