Footloose remake

Saw this yesterday, courtesy of a couple of free tickets.
Rather enjoyed it actually.

I'm not even sure they've tried to better the original. Just from the trailer they've done an almost direct scene-for-scene remake, barely worth the effort.

Not seen the original for a while, one thing the mrs said was that this was slightly improved by showing the crash that triggered the whole anti dancing law at the start of the film.

It does, but the sound system in the car is now on an iPod, those cassette tape thingys are SO last century!!
