Talking of "Battle of Britain" made me think about film themes. I like almost anything ever written by Ron Goodwin.
I also like lots of the big war film themes, such as John Addison's "A Bridge Too Far",

Probably insisted on by Daniel Day-Lewis, who is part Irish.

Also, many of the "British" soldiers in Nort America at the time werre actually Irish (40% of the "Britisdh" army in those days was Irish).
