You should definitely watch it from the beginning. Is it Sky Atlantic it starts on?
Yes, Tuesday Sky Atlantic, 9pm.I don't watch shows unless it's from S1E1. So there are plenty of shows that are talked about that I won't enter/watch unless they restart them, caught a glimpse of MM and it certainly piqued my interest to try and catch it when it gets repeated, and it is!

I always envy someone who hasn't seen Mad Men/The Sopranos/The Wire and is about to due to the enjoyment of watching either of these extremely high-class shows for the very first time.
Enjoy - you won't be disappointed.
On my second viewing of the Sopranos (halfway through the last series!), only watched the Wire for the first time last year on FX, will have to wait till series 5 is on SA!Enjoy - you won't be disappointed.

Mad Men confuses me. There is not a single character I like in it, yet I have watched all 4 seasons and been entertained.
I find them all hateful. It goes against my normal idea of entertainment.
I recall finding them all mostly vile, but very stylish.I find them all hateful. It goes against my normal idea of entertainment.

Perhaps the biggest problem, if the whole thing is trying to mean something-ish, rather than just look 60's pretty, is how will it end in S7 & will it avoid the Lost type confused/meh/what ending. There must be something about DD etc, but can't help feeling it will be something of a let down.
It's more like The Sopranos. It's just life, glimpses of it, and the stories that go around the characters. Stuff like Lost is more formula. So I'm watching MM. It had turned into the sort of show I watch over the laptop, but last night's episode was pretty good.
Don returns. He seemed a bit keen in jumping back into his old firm, has he lost his sharp edge? Doesn't even go for the ladies anymore.
I was mildly surprised he didn't deal when offered the return clauses, he knew he actually had them by the balls?

Pete is weird, he is good friends with Don, but I can;t see what their friendship is based on, longterm misogyny?
I hate that Lou! And the other partner with the specs!!
Not keen on Peggy any more either, whiny bh.

I love mad men but don't quite know why as I hate soaps. It's a fascinating and well executed show. Pete Campbell never ceases to surprise me.
Same. I like a glossy soap!!Yes it was extremely good, I now like Don again, also Maggy.
Don't like the red haired bimbo anymore, she's a .
Also, 'mid-season'? Next year? fk off that's another series then! Frankly Megan was getting a bit on my tits too, not surprising she is how she is though, with Don's actions.
