Campaign for veto of Bill on creationism in Tennessee
Discussion
In Tennessee they don't believe the scientists who tell them about evolution. I'll bet they dig up a few fringe so-called experts to muddy the waters then sit around clapping each other on the back and congratulating each other for being clever enough to spot the dishonesty of Darwinists and the gullibility of the general public.
How does this differ from those on Pistonheads who don't believe what the scientists tell them about climate change?

See 'ThenDover Trial', and the following documentary for previous stuff by creationists greatest and brightest...

These idiots should not be allowed anywhere near the science classroom.

Ok, i will bite, The difference is the science of evolution is a bit further down the road and is actually credible, also Darwinism is not being used to tax us all.rohrl said:

Because climate change opponents have facts, papers, and data used in their arguments. Creationists have nothing, (and I mean nothing), on their side as backup. I think it is ridiculous how climate change resistance is lumped together with creationists.

I find it amusing that folks way over on Treasure Island get worked up over a proposed legislative bill in one of 50 states.
Because when stupidity prevails in the only superpower, it is cause for concern. I also have 2 American nieces, as well as a sister who is an American. (Of course, have you not told to me before that these creationists aren't really in very big numbers, etc?)

I will tell you why they fking do it, it's the same mentality as the s who walk past you as you are smoking outside and cough, they like to get little digs in to feel superior, the creationists ARE a bunch of backwards thinking eyes closed wkers who have so far failed to wake up and question the frankly rediculous tale they have been spun about where we all came from, oh, the bible ? a fking book, written by a bunch of people a couple of thousadn years ago. Oh, it must be right and we were put here by God, in a Garden. And then Eve was given an apple by a snake and then they were kicked out and two people became the population of the world now. Faultless. I can't see a problem with that at all.No, The best way to deal with the two getting lumped together is to be the one doing the lumping, so, people who follow what they are told blindly and fail to question the world and how it works belong in the Creationist AND warmist camps. The two fantasys are well organised and have millions of followers who are happy to be blind.
So, if you have open eyes you can be a Darwinist climate realist.
Tennessee has "previous" on this.

The infamous monkey trial.
Top bit of trivia - the Prosecutor at that trial, a Mr. Sue K. Hicks, was the inspiration for the famous Johnny Cash song "A Boy Named Sue".

It's always difficult to concentrate on these stories because I have trouble in getting past the fact that any democratically elected figure of authority can be so monumentally stupid as to give creationism any credence whatsoever. OK, if you have an IQ of 51 and spent your formative years being brainwashed by whatever brand of religious loony prevails in your backwater then fair enough, but otherwise? It's almost beyond belief.

I agree wholeheartedly with each and everyone of your points my good man. No, The best way to deal with the two getting lumped together is to be the one doing the lumping, so, people who follow what they are told blindly and fail to question the world and how it works belong in the Creationist AND warmist camps. However, I have a disease in my lungs and when I walk passed people smoking, even outside, I begin to cough. As I do from diesel fumes when filling my vehicles and any number of other situations. Things are not always as they seem.
Carry on! (-:

I noticed the article refers to the "accepted science" of global warming. Oh really?? Allowing an alternative opinion that a "higher power" designed us should not worry everyone. Maybe that higher power is an alien crew that seeded Earth or bred hybrids until we resulted, who knows?
It's about the science, Jim. Keep the creationist bks in the religious education classroom, or even better at home or in church. To bring creationism into the science classroom, is an absolute joke. Maybe we were seeded by aliens, etc, but that is not what creationists are fostering, and nor is that what was found during the Dover trial.

I think it's more that if you replace "United States" with "Somalia" or "Yemen" you'd think it utterly backwards that such a bill was even being mooted.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
